MINIMUM WAGES
After 2022, we seriously need to review and pass legislation to increase the threshold of the current minimum wage act.
Then we need to police this law for businesses to strictly adhere to the law.
Our people are suffering because some are being paid under the 'minimum wage' threshold by businesses who are noncompliant in this regard.
Policies of political parties differ and vary less. What PNG needs is prudent leaders with impeccable moral ethics.
SOON AT THE 2022 CROSSROADS
After 4.06pm on Thursday the 12/05/2022, the writs will be issued and we are on again. The country will again be placed at the cross roads including our PomNW electorate.
Candidates who have been preparing in the last 6-12months dishing out cash and kind in the guise of awareness will be working hard to remind the people of what they have done for the people in their times of need.
Politicians will hope to reap votes for the pretentious good deeds they have bestowed on the people when the countining begins after Eight weeks of campaigning. Only at the counting will we know who the real winner will be. For now its anybody's game.
WILL WE BE STILL GULLIBLE?
I dont know. It remains to be seen. I have gone out also to do my own research. The people say they are no longer blinded by material goods and cash from pretentious good samaritians. Will they act to what they say now?
Will the 2022 Elections be any different? Will many a good leader be voted in as the people are tired and fed up?
Of cousres, they are tired of being oppressed and suppressed by a government that is suppose to lead them into prosperity. Not into heaps and heaps of debt and misery.
But will they remember the times they've trodded the hard path to now, when they stand to cast their ballots, or will they succumb to the whims the pretentious good samaritians?
IMMUNE TO LOANS
We know that no government is immune to loans. But we must ask about where the millions and billions from foreign aids have disappeard to. Why are there no tangible development in the settlements and rural areas? Why have the social indicators not improved at all but are on an eternal decline?
The answer is simple. Loans are Risks. But risks are manageable. That is why we borrow. And all we need is good men and women, leaders of principle and astute moral ethics and standings, and of imppecable discipline to manage these risks to guide us out of this abyss we have been plunged into.
WE MUST CHOOSE NOW
The last 2 Governments have anchored this ship in a perilous harbour where the ship is beign tossed, rocked by tidal waves and gahstly winds. Soon it will be sunk if we are not carefull with who we elect in this Election.
We the people are tired. Weak and on breaking point. Most of us merely survive on a bread of Tinned-Fish and Rice, and some times pure rice with coconut in coconut milk for weeks on ends. I know because I am one of them.
So the day and hour is right now. The time is at hand to choose our destiny, our childrens future. Let us never forget the lives we have lived under these no good doers that pretend to be representing the people.
PNG must rise now at the polls and say NO to tyrants who have used and manipulated the government systems to benefit their own egos.
Good luck to all us at the polls for PNG's sake.

What is the difference between an ORDINARY THIEF and a POLITICAL THIEF?
1. The ordinary thief steals your money, your bag, your watch and your jewelry, BUT the political thief steals your future, your education, your health and your business.
2. The hilarious part of it is that, the ordinary thief will choose whom to rob, BUT we are the ones who choose the political thief to rob us. We CHOOSE them, we VOTE them.
We blindly say we are NOT blind. Who is deceiving who?
3. The RIDICULOUS part of the whole issue is that we will FIGHT to DEFEND and PROTECT our belongings from the ordinary thief, BUT we fight EACH OTHER to defend and protect the political thief

Difference Between Ordinary Thief and Political Thief Explained Make wise decisions
In Election 2022 we must look to support candidates and parties with policies that aim to address the most basic of necessities. All others will fall into place if we have the basics intact and in place.
1. Income Tax Reduction
2. Promote and Invest in Agriculture
3. Address Housing Issues for All
4. Increase Employment Opportunities
5. Improve the Health Sector
6. Quality Education
7. Law & Order
8. Develop Rural Infrastructure
Let us not be fooled by rhetorics that are sweetened with money and goods. We should by now know better.
Everything is possible in this world. What we need is just determination; your good luck depends on your firm belief.
In order to live positively, we must all learn to see the good in people instead of focussing on the negatives. No one is without his/her flaws.
Good attitudes bring about mutual success and happiness.

THE GOVERNMENTS PAST AND PRESENT HAVE VERY SERIOUSLY FAILED THE MAJORITY OF PUBLIC SERVANTS AND HARD WORKING PRIVATE SECTOR WORKERS WHEN IT COMES TO HOUSING.
Yesterday's rally at June Valley was truly awesome. Team Segie Otio had a wonderful reception from the community and a beautiful and memorable day it was indeed. There was no need for security. LEADERSHIP IS NOT ABOUT MONEY
Leadership is about making decisions. You don't need money to be a leader. Everyone of you is a leader in your own right.
You make decisions day in and day out about your lives.
So at this 2021 PomNW Bi-election make a decision like you do every other day. Do not be mis-led by rhetorics of another money leader peddling false hopes.
Leadership is not about money. It's about empathy. It's about feeling another's pains and struggles when you put yourself in another's shoes and not from mere speculation.
So help yourself make that decision that will empower you and not one that takes power away from you. Do not regret your decisions for short term monetary and material benefits.
Instead you should rejoice in your decision and look forward to a brighter and better future.
Vote for leadership with policies derived and born out of empathy and personal experience about the struggles in life. Vote for leadership with policies that does not compromise your power as a voter. Vote for leadership that not only promises realisation but tangible delivery on policies.
You can't go wrong with Box 49.

HOUSING: A DIRE NEED
In 2010, the NHC gave me notice to vacate my home of 30+ years. My father, a retired public servant was the legal tenant since 1985 and was an approved recipient to the NHC's GAS program but NHC had failed to release the title to him.
Upon receiving notice to vacate the property, I entered into a sub-lease agreement with NHC and vacated the premises.
I was homeless, distraught, and lived on the streets, in the settlements and rental properties here and there like a destitute for 5 years until 2015 when I moved back into the property after paying it off in 2014.
At one point I slept in my car at the Boroko Police Station car park for 1-2 weeks with my belongings in my car. My family was scattered over with relatives and some sent back to the village. Believe me when I say it's not a good feeling when you find yourself homeless.
So, my short term housing policy to assist teachers, medical workers through housing schemes and help NHC GAS approved recipients to obtain titles is derived from that experience. I don't want anyone to experience what I went through.
Housing is a dire need and the Government through the Housing Ministry and NHC as policy implementer has failed miserably to provide proper and affordable housing to its people over the years.
Let's get the basics right. Nogat time.

Elections provide the opportunity to make decisions for the future wellbeing of our children. So vote wisely this by-election for PomNW based on your conviction about candidates and their policies.

DIALOGUE MEANS SOLUTIONS
We believe in dialogue about local content with communities and people in PomNW. It presents a better perspective on real issues affecting individuals and communities respectively.
In my many campaign visits, we have found that some, if not most issues are common and wide reaching while some are unique to their communities.
Our policies are derived NOT from speculation and hear-say but actual experiences and true dialogue with PomNW Constituents.
We believe our short-term-aimed policies on Water, Education and School Fee Subsidies, Housing, and Micro SME will deliver tangible outcomes and begin to at least address some of issues discussed within the 6-8 months in office.
So, if you believe that we empathise with and understand you, then you know we can deliver on our 4 policy platforms.
A vote for Box 49 from one of your preferences will not be a mistake.
'Mi stap wantaim yu na mi luk save long yu!'
POLICY PLATFORM FOR 2021 POMNW BY-ELECTION
As an independent candidate, I have developed my policies based on and derived from my personal experiences living with the constituents in PomNW, my 25 years of strict private sector work ethics and culture, and shortfalls experienced with government and statutory bodies.
When developing these policies, I have been mindful about tenure of office which will be about 8-10 months only.
Hence these 4 policies are short term based and aimed at delivering within the 8-10 months in office.
1. Water and Sanitation
Initiate water and sanitation projects with the help of Eda Ranu for non-revenue zones such as Motu Koita villages, squatter settlements semi-urban areas.
2. School Fee Subsidy
Subsidise school fees. About 37% which is parents component for all students in PomNW schools. This will apply also to students of PomNW attending colleges and universities.
3. Housing and Property Titles
• Build housing for teachers in PomNW schools within the vicinity of respective wards.
• Build housing for our medical workers in PomNW hospitals and clinics within the vicinity of the respective wards.
• Assist NHC tenants approved under the NHC's Give-Away-Scheme (GAS) to obtain TITLES to their properties. Land Rental Arrears with the Lands Department will also be subsidised, if not paid off.
4. MSME Support
Empower PomNW constituents in the informal sector via registered associations incorporated with IPA. MSME will be aimed at supporting business activities among women groups, youth groups and sporting groups, etc.
The above 4 point policies will be expounded further together with their respective implementation strategies in my later posts. This merely to give you a clear perspective on my candidacy.
'ME STAP WANTAIM YU NA LUK SAVE LONG YU!
Lets make a difference for our PomNW constituents by getting the basics right. We all deserve fair empowerment opportunities.
So a choice from one of your 3 preferences for BOX 49 will help me help you for the better.
INCLUSIVE EMPOWERMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN DIVERSE POMNW.
Policies of a candidate are defined by the very lives they live and have lived. As a candidate for the PomNW by-election, I believe that we have to empathise our constituents and understand them before we can even begin to think about representing them, let alone improve their lives.
PomNW is an electorate like PomNE and PomSouth made up of a diverse population of PNG. And so our focus should be about addressing real issues affecting them in the short term of 6-8 months in office until 2022.
Whatever policies we may have will only play second fiddle to that of the ruling Party's policies, but we can and must deliver on our short term policies in line with the NCDC at the electorate level.
My short term policies on behalf of the marginalised for the 6-8 months are that we must build on and see through all of Sir Mek's plans as they are tax payer's money used already with a fresh leadership and renewed direction.
My short term deliverables are and reflect inclusive empowerment opportunities for all.
They are:
- water and sanitation for the settlements in line with Water PNG guidelines.
- SME empowerment for mothers, youths and fathers.
- school fee assistance to be paid forward.
- develop urbanisation plans with basic utility services for all settlements and Motu-Koita villages in line with NCDC policies and priorities.
- housing for all teahers and medical workers in PomNW.
I wish all my fellow candidates well in this by-election.
