The food at this restaurant is super comforting and definitely gives you that Southern California feel 😂 As per my dining experiences, the ingredients are fresh every time 🥬

They serve American, Filipino, and Mexican food. The menu items here range from ₱200-₱700 as far as I know, and although it's a bit more pricey than your usual "comfort food" restaurant, it's definitely worth a trip. Honestly speaking, the only downside is that (some) of the menu items are a bit bland but I also feel like that's why they have a bunch of different condiments at each table so you can season it up to your preference🧂🍽️

Also! I wasn't able to take pictures but they have reaaaally good pies and cookies 😮‍💨 + honorable mention to their black forest cake 🍫🍒🍰

Choong-Man CM Chicken Philippines (next to Lala Garden + Kim's mall) 8/10 🍗

Can we just appreciate how much onions they put in this? 🤩 Definitely one of the most unique chicken places here in Pampanga and actually pretty good!! The chicken itself is really tender and has a crunchy coating. The sauce is pretty interesting too because usually korean fried chicken is served with red or glazed sauced but this white garlic sauce was a good twist. We ordered the Curry Snow-Onion Chicken but I'm definitely looking forward to trying the other flavors! Another green flag for this restaurant is that its super affordable, this was just a half-order (₱480) but it was good for 2-3 people!

The only downside to my experience here was that they didn't have that much side dishes and those side dishes didn't have much flavor besides the pickled radish. Other than that, the place was clean, food was good, and they have free wifi 🤍

Huimin Dumplings - 8.9/10 !! 😮‍💨🤌🏼🍜 🥟

Will definitely go back here for to try their other noodle soups!!! The noodles are hand pulled so they tasted super fresh and chewy, I don't think any other restaurant along friendship, or let alone pampanga, has these type of noodles but they were DELICIOUS. However, the meat for the beef noodle soup is a bit tough but I have yet to try the other menu items. The broth was heavenly too and adding some chili oil made it so much better, but the broth by itself was impressive enough. The serving size was huge as well and it could honestly feed up 3 people if other dishes like dumplings were shared.

The dumplings were veeeery good I just think the wrapper was too thick but overall they were juicy and super flavorful plus they had a lot of filling in them + if you add some black vinegar it's suuuper tasty. Also, these dumplings were SO CHEAP for 15 pieces 😮‍💨

before anything else PLEASE 🤌🏼 try their biscuits and gravy because they were heaven sent!!! i didn't get to take a picture and it was probably because they were gone by the time i realized lol

for the actual review:

i've been here twice and i can definitely say the ambiance of the place brought me back to san diego!! super chill sports bar vibes and the owners are so nice!! we met mercy our first time and she recognized us the second time around 🤍 we tried the al pastor burrito, buffalo wings, and their cheeseburger and they were pretty good! my only suggestion would be adding sides to some of the dishes because i found the prices a tad bit pricy for the serving size, but nonetheless another hidden gem on my list 😋 (also considering how outdated my review is and as far as i know they updated their menu from the last time i wentso give it a try!!

Arz Lebanon Restaurant - Angeles City, Pamanga

This is by far one of THE BEST Lebanese restaurants I've tried and I'm talking far and wide including restaurants in America. Today was my first time trying this place out after eyeing it for months and it did not disappoint! Everything was so flavorful and you definitely get a bang for your buck because it's incredibly affordable with a price range of ₱145-₱699. For the quality served to us earlier there's no doubt I'd become a regular customer 😂

I recommend everything in these photos 🤍 Hummus and their ARZ Lebanon Mixed Grilled Platter. Their Shishtawou chicken is literally the best chicken I've had in probably my entire 22 years of existence and I'm not exaggerating when I say that because I'm very particular with my chicken and I've tried a lotttt of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern chicken far and wide and this is by far my absolute favorite.

Patche's Thai Restaurant-Patcharawan

this is always ALWAYS a good place to settle on when thinking about some good quality and affordable thai food 🤤 (you'd be extra full with only spending around 1,000 or even less for a group of 3!!) a hidden gem for sure but i don't gatekeep my restaurants 🙄😂 i love everything about the place! it's a humble home that tells a story through pictures and flavors. only thing i'd have to say is their pad thai gets a bit oily at times and their fried egg rolls are pretty simple, but their seafood tom yum?? delicious 🤌🏼 and comes in a pretty large serving too so you definitely get your money's worth and more 🫶🏼

this is easily the closest take on authentic vietnamese food, even how they serve the meat raw so it cooks in the hot soup 🤍🍜 the only thing i'd comment on is that the doneness of the noodles is a hit or miss because one time the noodles that were served to me were too soft and just dissolved in the soup, so just make sure to ask them for al denté rice noodles

i've been here a couple times and i can definitely say they have large servings for their pho. although flavorwise, i feel like the broth isn't as flavorful but it's nothing some hoisin sauce and some sriracha can fix.

need i say more?? just LOOK at how cute this place is!! and the story behind this restaurant is super sentimental too 🥹

right off the bat this is one of the best go-to restaurants in pampanga! from the way they present their dishes to the taste and quality of everyyy single item on the menu 💓

the hachiko buns are a must-try, literally my fave menu item paired with some beef szechuan noodle soup/braised pork dry noodles 😮‍💨✊🏼 i tried their tonkotsu ramen as well and it was pretty decent but not my favorite.

송도 Songdo Korean Restaurant - Angeles City

so far this has been my favorite korean restaurant!! their ingredients are always super fresh especially the veggies and their meat is always super tasty 😋 this place is so much better than going to those “all u can eat” korean barbeque restaurant plus it’s very affordable i cannot stress how worth it this restaurant is !!!

also all their employees are super hands on and friendly to all their customers so kudos to the owner for having a notably great staff 🤍

this is personal favorite since you definitely get your money’s worth here. it’s super affordable and for authentic indian food too??? this place leaves me speechless every time 😮‍💨

Royal Indian Curry House - 8/10

the quality of the food is great and tastes amazing, the scenery is beautiful too since it’s on a really high floor so you can see all of angeles 🌃 but if i wanted to get the best bang for my buck i’d rather go to rasoi

Red chili indian restaurant - 7/10

this is literally right next to where i study so i find myself here a lot when i’m craving indian food. super affordable too as in you can get a meal for ₱150 and it’d fill you up. taste wise tho it’s not the best but it’s comforting!

Koko Buri 🍗

this has been a family favorite since probably a decade ago and their recipe hasn’t changed changed ever since! only downside is i have had an instance wherein they just refried pieces of chicken so watch out for that!

their nagasaki champon soup is always sooo comforting and best when paired with their chicken 😛

also shout out to their orange soy garlic shrimp 🍊🍤 AND honorable mention for their unmatched grape slush 🍇🥤

here we have the DC bbq burger and their surf & turf burger (my personal fave) !! i literally don’t think i have anything negative to say about these burgers and this isn’t even sponsored 😂 now comparing it to burgers from something like five guys, i will say that would be the only factor to break its chances of being a complete 10/10.

i believe their burgers start off at around ₱199 but for the quality of their burgers? definitely worth it
