Starting November 28, 2020, all departing and arriving passengers on flights within and from the Philippines are required to use the Traze mobile app for contact tracing. Download and install the app before proceeding to the airport, for a more seamless experience.

Passengers may also approach the Malasakit Helpdesk at the airport for registration assistance to get a unique QR code, or they may ask a family member to register them with the app.

IMPORTANT ADVISORY

ALL airport passengers MUST download and register an account in the TRAZE Contact Tracing App beginning 28 November 2020, prior entering the airport.

How to register? Just these simple steps:

• Download the TRAZE App from your mobile store and install it on your phone
• Open the app and click the “Register” button below. Register as “Individual.”
• Just follow the instructions indicated in the app and input the needed information
• Activate your account

Meanwhile, for passengers who do not have mobile phones or any other mobile gadget, they may go to the Malasakit Helpdesk at the airport where they will be provided assistance in getting a unique QR code. Or, they may likewise ask a family member to register them with the app.

The QR code can be used at any DOTr Office nationwide.

TRAZE, a nationwide and unified contact tracing app is co-developed by the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) and Cosmotech Philippines, Inc., which enables the government’s contact tracing efforts to be strengthened and be more efficient.

With TRAZE, the contact tracing process can now be done in just a few minutes, unlike the usual and manual process. Not only that—you can also be assured that your data is safe and secured, as the app fully complies with the Data Privacy Act (DPA) or Republic Act No. 10173. Further, it does not use bluetooth or GPS, and it works well even with slow mobile data and WiFi!

Tourists from areas under general community quarantine will be allowed to enter Boracay Island starting October 1, but they will be required to follow health protocols.

Aside from a negative RT-PCR test result, Tourism Undersecretary Benito Bengzon said visitors must have pre-arranged reservations.

Interior Secretary Eduardo Año also said Boracay Island is “well-prepared” to accept more tourists, noting that safety protocols have already been put in place.

General Advisory for Visitors traveling to Singapore

Short-term visitors are not allowed entry into Singapore, except those coming in under the Green/Fast Lane arrangements or with special prior approval. Singapore has also ceased port calls for all cruise vessels.

All Singapore-bound passengers will be required to serve a 14-day Stay-Home-Notice (SHN) and COVID-19 testing upon entry. Passengers will bear the costs of the COVID-19 tests and stay at the dedicated SHN Facilities.

Notice to All Non-OFWs Arriving from an International Flight

Effective 16 August 2020, all passengers arriving from an international flight who are non-OFWs (Returning Overseas Filipinos, Other Philippine passport holders, exchange visitors, diplomats and dependents of the aforementioned) shall be required to book their quarantine hotels from the list accredited by the Bureau of Quarantine prior to arrival in CRK. All booking shall be made including airport to hotel transfers. A confirmed hotel voucher shall be required when they check in for their flight at their city of origin.

Philippine Airlines is operating more weekly flights to Pagadian starting August 25 to accommodate more passengers bound for the capital city of Zamboanga del Sur.

Philippine Airlines will be mounting special flights between Manila and Bacolod starting August 23, 2020.

The Manila to Bacolod flight will only be allowed to carry residents of Negros Occidental, Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) and Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APORs).

Passengers need to bring the following documents to comply with local government unit (LGU) requirements:

From Manila:
LSI: 1) Medical Certificate from a Government Doctor, and 2)Valid Government Issued ID with address in Negros Occidental/Bacolod City as proof of residency.
APOR: 1) Local counterpart in Bacolod City or Negros Occidental should have coordination with the LGU of the province of Negros Occidental or Bacolod City, 2) Valid Company ID, and 3) Certificate of employment stating the duration of work in Negros Occidental.
