Reflecting on the amazing freshmen welcome event last June 21, 2024, was filled with gratitude and excitement. The event was a beautiful blend of informative sessions, engaging activities, and genuine connections. It was heartwarming to see new students being embraced by our college. The COPS officers prepared activities such as mugshot photography, camera films, and let freshies use the digital and manual camera in order to have an idea of what the forensic photography course will offer! ๐ท
In addition to this, COPSโ Grand Chancellor, Deputy Grand Chancellor and Media Officer (representative from COPS), were also able to take their solemn oath on the same day promising to serve the students with integrity, accountability and transparency. The representatives were also able to introduce COPS towards the Criminology freshmen students and encouraged them to join COPS as members. ๐ฎ๐ป

"Roots of Change: Planting for a Sustainable Future" took root on November 11, 2023, at the breathtaking Mt. Arayat in Pampanga. This eco-initiative blossomed through a harmonious collaboration between DENR, the dedicated faculty of HAU-CCJEF, and the green-thumbed 4th-year Criminology students. Against the backdrop of the majestic mountain, hands joined forces to plant seeds of environmental responsibility.
In a synchronized effort, participants from HAU-CCJEF faculty, backed by the vigilant HAU-Cops, delved into the profound connection between their subject, environmental law protection. Each sapling symbolized a commitment to protect our planet, demonstrating that the roots of change extend beyond legislation into the very soil we cultivate. As the seeds nestled into the earth, so did the awareness that the law and nature can coexist, fostering a sustainable future for generations to come.
This event not only enriched the landscape of Mt. Arayat but also planted the seeds of environmental stewardship in the hearts and minds of those involved, creating a living testament to the power of unity in nurturing our planet. "Roots of Change" is not just a one-day affair; it's a declaration that reverberates through the soil, echoing the promise of a greener, more sustainable tomorrow.
