ANGELES CITY - The city government led by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., will host a nine-day trade fair featuring Angeleño-made products from the city’s One Town One Product (OTOP) store as part of this year's month - long celebration of Fiestang Kuliat 2024.

Dubbed “Kambal Festival Trade Fair,” the trade fair will officially open on October 15 and will run until October 24 from 8AM to 8PM at the Plaza Anghel, Museo Ning Angeles.

Lazatin said the trade fair aims to continue to promote locally-made products and encourages his kababayans to visit and support the upcoming trade fair.

Lazatin’s Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel will personally supervise the trade fair, which will be managed by the Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office headed by Irish Bonus-Llego.

The merchants joining the trade fair are Impact Balibago Arts and Crafts (IBAC), K's Creations, Tamayuq, Izzamway, Teresa's Mashroom, Woodcraft by Madison, Tabak's, Cutud Weavers, Ellen Turla, Flores Handicraft, Micary Fragrance, Super EC, Tsokola-T, Glitz and Glamz, A taste of Angel's Food Delights, Macabest Halo-halo, and Organics Farmers.

To recall, the 10-day Kambal Trade Fair held in 2022 and 2023 closed with ₱642,359 and ₱432,311 in earnings, respectively.

The OTOP store was revitalized in 2019 and its ₱500 administrative fee was waived as one of the priority projects of the Lazatin administration. The OTOP store is located at Nepomuceno St., Heritage District, Barangay Sto. Rosario. It also has two kiosks installed at the entrance and exit doors of the City Hall building.

The street dancers from Gueco Balibago Elementary School received ₱200,000 for the said award.
