The answer is simple. When you buy a hedgehog from a reputable breeder, you aren’t just buying a hedgehog. You are buying lineage they have studied, researched, and worked hard to guarantee that they are free from disease, congenital defects, and future health issues. You are buying a hedgehog they trust will have the longest, healthiest lives of their species, because they know that hedgehog’s lineage inside and out.

When you buy from a reputable breeder, you are buying one of their babies that they have poured time, energy, love, and money into. You are buying something they have worked towards making the best possible pet for you. Breeders care for their babies from the moment they are born until the day they entrust their care with you. They watch the baby grow, develop, and change into a healthy pet for you.

When you buy from a reputable breeder, you are buying not only a hedgehog, but an exotic animal that has taken years to establish a healthy base in non-native countries. Their needs, diet, exercise, and care in general takes special accommodations and unique understanding to guarantee they live a healthy life in captivity. This requires special knowledge regarding their history, their susceptibility to certain health issues, and an understanding of their anatomy and biological traits and characteristics. They are an investment, both financially and emotionally. If you aren’t ready for that level of commitment, then please don’t get a pet. ❤️

1: Winter white hamster (phodopus sungorus) tinatawag din silang Djungarian hamster or Siberian Dwarf hamster or Russian Dwarf hamster, nagbabago ang kulay nila tuwing malamig ang panahon (winter coating) eto ay namumuti at kumikintab , ang ugali ng hamster na ito ay kalmado wala sa katangian nila ang mangagat kapag nagulat may posibilidad lang silang mangagat kapag buntis o kaya ay hindi pa sya napapaamo, madali lang itong paamuhin :D

3: Roborovskii hamster (Phodopus Roborovskii) tinatawag din itong desert hamster, ito ay ang pinakamaliit na uri ng hamster, ang ugali nila ay likas na maliksi, mahilig itong tumakbo kaya kailangan nila ng weel at iba pang libangan, nangangagat din sila pero mahina lang at bihira lang mag dugo depende nalang siguro sa balat mo, madaming nagsasabi na hindi ito pang beginner na hamster dahil hindi ito halos mahawakan pag bago palang oh hindi pa napapaamo :D

Sa pag aalaga naman maaari nyo silang ilagay sa aquarium,bin, or sa commercial cage na nabibili sa petshop :) yung tubigan naman nila may water bottle na nabibili din sa petshop, sa pagkain naman may mixed dried seeds kagaya ng hagibis at ilang magagandang klase ng pellet(Integra 3000) na pwedeng mabili sa bilihan ng pagkain ng manok

Ang mga ditalye na nilagay ko jan ay base lang sa karanasan at nabasa ko sa internet at sa ilang fb group, mga panimulang ditalye lamang ang nakalagay jan madami pang kulang jan para yan sa mga mag uumpisa pa lang ^_^

Syrian Hamster has two Types of Fur💯

1 : Longhaired - Known as Teddy Bear,

2 : Shorthaired - Known as Golden,

Hindi po tayo o hindi po Adivisable mag Breed ng Longhaired x Shorthaired, dahil nawawala na po ang PURITY ng dalawang magkaibang Furtype.

Napakahalaga po sa Generations natin ngayon na may PURELINE ng Longhaired at PURELINE ng Shorthaired 💕

🐹 First of all: Basic hamster care is not complicated, and hamsters can become tame if you train it to be so.

🐹 There are five basic steps when it comes to taming your hamster:

✅ When bringing your hamster home give it 2-3 days where you don’t handle it and allow it to adjust to its new surroundings.

✅ Start speaking with your hamster and put your hand in the cage. Do not put your hand over your hamster.

✅ Start touching your hamster and make it comfortable with you touching it.

✅ Start picking up your hamster, cupped in the palm of your hand.

✅ Become best friends with your hamster and make it tame by playing with you daily (or close to it!)

⚠️ A final note on taming your hamster: You should never wake up your hamster when it sleeps!

Never!

⚠️ This will lead to a negative response and will make the taming process significantly harder.

✅ The other thing to note about Syrian Hamsters is while they are clean animals you still need to clean the cage. You should do this once a week where you remove all the bedding, clean the cage and put new bedding in.
