PATH is launching a new feeding program at our local police station! We’ve been so blessed with resources to sustain ourselves, and now it’s time to extend that support to others in our community. First Year On August 23, 2023, a van pulled up in front of our gate. Inside sat “A,” not knowing what the future held, and there stood Choi and me, equally unsure of what lay ahead. The house was ready, the documents were in place, and we were about to step into the unchartered territory of this ministry. ...

🛒 BIG accomplishment for "A" this past weekend!

Family is #1 here. It supersedes all other commitments. Being able to provide for one's family is often both the driving force to keep pushing forward and the strongest source of pride when achieved.. "A" was able to do this.

He worked all summer, 7 days a week, often exceeding 12hrs a shift. Not only did he save enough to open a sizable bank account, but was also able to buy his family much needed groceries and supplies.

We are so proud of you, "A," for your hard work, dedication to your family, and your ability to see the bigger picture that the Lord has drawn out for you!

It is through the generosity of our supporters that "A" was able to experience this sense of pride for the first, but certainly not the last, time. A huge 'thank you' to all of you who make this possible. 🙏🏻

First Summer It’s our first summer here at PATH! As summer break approached and school let out, we found ourselves uncertain about how to fill the days ahead. With idle time on their hands, we worried that the boys might be tempted to engage in unproductive or negative activities. As the saying goes, idle hand...

💼 As the school year closed and summer rolled in, we were unsure of what summer would look like. Summer jobs are not readily available as they are in the Western World as most companies here are looking for full-time employees. Many applications later, all 3 of our boys have found summer jobs! We are excited for these 3 to take this next step towards independence and learn workplace ethics, time management, and financial responsibility!

🔌 Our two Senior High Students have been learning electrical installation and maintenance in their class strand. Today they got some real-life practice!

🥚 We made a DIY incubator for our chicken eggs as our hens are laying faster than they can manage themselves 🐔

The house didn't explode and now we can have more successful hatches 🐣 I'd say that's a win-win!

🚗 As the school year comes to a close and summer rolls in, our focus shifts to taking steps towards independence—summer jobs, training schools, etc. One focus this summer is to get these guys behind the wheel, a terrifying necessity! 😅 But the ability to drive will open more opportunities for employment and success for these boys.

For this, they will need to undergo both theoretical and practical class time. Each student will cost about $100 USD. Our goal is to get 4 students enrolled and licensed.

🛺 We are absolutely BLOWN AWAY by how quickly and generously people came through on this campaign! A HUGE "THANK YOU" to every person who contributed to our transportation fund! ✝️ In our pursuit to minister to young men before, during, and after incarceration, Pastor Choi goes to two different juvenile detention centers every Saturday to share the hope we have in Christ. "L" and "A" alternate weekends to join Ptr. Choi. There, they are able to share their own stories of how the Lord has worked and continues to work in their lives. We are so proud of these two for stepping out of their comfort zones and boldly sharing their faith.
