"Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world." โHoward Zinn
On April 27, 2024, the Extensionists Organization was invited to collect in-kind donations and act as manpower for the outreach program of the social studies organization for UNESCO conducted in Sitio Dump Site, Antipolo City.
The event was attended by other partnered organizations, such as UPD Youth Advocates for UNESCO and the Rotaract Club of Rizal Mideast. The social studies students had prepared a short discussion, games, and food for the kids. They also gave them school supplies and hygiene kits.
May this seemingly small act serve as a prompt for transforming our world into a more desirable one.
Again, the Extensionists Organization would like to extend our gratitude to the social studies organization at UNESCO for considering us to be one of their partnered organizations.

The Extensionists Organization has conducted a program entitled "Trash Bin Makingโ with the objectives of actively promoting responsible waste management on campus and showing the importance of recycling and reducing waste production.
In order to make this project possible, the First year students were asked to collect plastic bottles and other recyclable materials as their means of gathering the necessary materials for their trash bins. This project would not have reached its goal if it weren't for the guidance of Prof. Irene O. Feliciano, the NSTP subject teacher of the First year students.
It is indeed of utmost importance to keep our environment free from waste, which can cause the spread of bacteria and unpleasant odors.
In response, let us be an active agents in making our environment green and clean!

Have a nice week ahead of us all. Thank you!
