𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚: Pre, Nasa magkano ang usual na profit margin ng isang contractor?

𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙤r: between 7% to 30% pre

𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚: Malaki din pala kitaan diyan.

𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧: Saktuhan lang naman pre.

𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚: Magcontractor na din ako Pre, maganda pala ang kitaan diyan.

𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧: Subukan mo pre, para alam mo din ang buhay ng isang contractor.

𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚: Share mo naman experiences mo pare

𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧: Sure, kailangan willing ka sa mga sumusunod.
1. Gumising ng maaga lalo na kapag lunes, para ma-prepare mga gagawin ng tauhan at staff mo sa bawat proyekto niyo. I-review ang gantt chart para maayos ang schedule.
2. Willing ka to work 16-20 hours a day para makapag review or makagawa ka ng quotation, cost comparison sa suppliers, sourcing ng suppliers, makapag meeting with clients, makapag visit sa mga projects, makapagbangko, makagawa ng progress report, macheck mga back jobs, at marami pang iba.
3. Handa ka din akuhin mga kapalpakan ng workers mo, Project In-charged at mga subcontractors mo. These mistakes will cost you time and money (hindi yan naisip ng mga tauhan mo at subcontractors mo).
4. Tuwing friday kalimutan mo ang TGIF dahil nga aligaga ka kakacheck sa bank accounts mo at wallet mo kung may ipapasahod ka pa at kung may matitira pa pambili mo ng grocery para sa pamilya mo dahil mas unang nasa isip mo ay ang ibibigay mo sa mga tauhan mo bago ang para sa sariling PAMILYA MO.
5. Dapat hindi ka takot umutang, lakasan ng loob yan dahil not all the time on time ang collection, kaya kakapalan mo mukha mo mangutang para may maipasahod ka sa mga tauhan mo na kahit ang ibang trabahante ay natutulog lang sa kangkungan at ang iba naman ay patayo-tayo lang at chillax lang sa trabaho.
6. Handa ka din magtrabaho ng 7 days a week lalo na kung paturn-over ka na sa project.
7. Para ka din Doctor na dapat available 24/7 lalo na kapag may pa-BUHOS sa site. Laging panalangin mo na sana ay walang bumagsak or pumalpak sa suporta sa mga framing works. Dahil kapag pumalpak, sangkatutak na kamalasan dahil sa perang nagasta at nasayang.
8. Handa kang matulog either sa barracks or sa kotse para makapagpahinga ng 1-2 oras dahil sa pagod.
9. Handa kang magpatawad sa mga tauhan na nagpapayroll padding dahil nga sobrang busy ka iisahan ka minsan ng isang demonyong tauhan mo.
10. Handa ka din magpatawad sa magnanakaw ng mga power tools, hand tools at materyales sa site lalo na ang mga electrical wirings. (Sana lang hindi sila matokhang 😂)
11. Handa ka magpaliwanag sa cliente tuwing may sablay.
12. Handa ka emotionally na mag alis ng tauhan kahit pa malapit ito sa iyo either dahil petiks sa trabaho, nagdodroga or magnanakaw. (Again, sana hindi sila matokhang 😝)
13. Handa ka din mashock sa pagtaas ng presyo ng materyales na kalimitan ninanakaw pa ng iba mong trabahante.
14. Pagtitimpi… HANDANG HANDA ka dapat dito, dahil kung maiksi ang pasensya mo either MAKAPATAY ka or IKAW ANG MAMATAY. Kaya hingang malalim palage para kalmado ka lang. 🙂
15. Kapag nakabuntis ang isa sa regular na tauhan mo, parang ikaw na din nakabuntis dahil ikaw takbuhan kapag kulang ang pera para sa panganganak at pang-gatas.
16. Handa ka lang din dapat na baka sa huling kwenta mo sa CASH FLOW (CREDIT/DEBIT) ang natira sa kita mo ay WALA or pinakamasaklap ay ABUNADO ka pa.
….at napakarami pang iba, para kang PULITIKO na kailangan marunong kang makisama sa mga TAUHAN, SUPPLIERS, Construction Professionals, Authorities, at higit sa lahat sa CLIENTE!

Masaya sa construction, kailangan may a-alalay lang sa iyo na equipped na sa experiences sa industriyang ito. Masalimuot magkamali dahil magastos sumablay.
Kaya madaming naging scammer daw na contractor pero sa totoo lang hindi “silang LAHAT” ay scammer, ang totoo nun ay napasubo lang sila, iniwan nila ang projects dahil sa nagkamali sila sa costing o kaya naman ay pumalpak sa management ng proyekto. Ngunit ang iba naman inuna ang 𝘽𝙄𝙎𝙔𝙊 either sa 𝘽𝘼𝘽𝘼𝙀, 𝙎𝙐𝙂𝘼𝙇, 𝙊 𝘿𝙍𝙊𝙂𝘼 kaya tinakbuhan na lang ang proyekto dahil naubos na ito sa bisyo.

𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚: Pre parang hugot na hugot ah, mukhang madami kang karanasan sa negosyong ito na siyang nagpapatatag sa iyo.

𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧: Sa negosyong ito patuloy kang matututo, bawat proyekto may bago kang matututunan, bawat proyekto may masasaya at malulungkot na experiences 𝙣𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣.

𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚: Pre salamat sa advise mo ha? Mag oobserved muna ako sa isang project mo, baka pwedeng maging alalay mo muna ako para matutunan ko paano magpatakbo sa negosyong ito.

𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧: Sure pare, willing naman tayo to share wisdom and knowledge.
