Meet Lara.

She was supposed to become a teacher.

Not that she wanted to be one, pero yun lang kasi yung course na afford ng parents nya.

She was already doing her teaching internship when the pandemic happened and she got her first exposure to freelancing - somebody asked her to become a page admin to handle product inquiries.

This sparked her entrepreneurial spirit – sabi nga nya, “Nag-aaral na ako, may extra income pa ako”.

She then became an Amazon VA…but while this helped her have extra income…

She was stuck in 8-hour work days with routine work that felt draining…

Eh ang ultimate goal pa naman nya in freelancing was time freedom.😅

Well, that was until she discovered funnel design and joined FMA.

Now, Lara enjoys time freedom while earning, and working on her own schedule.

I love taking pictures, buti na lang talaga kasi may na-keep akong memories na magpapa-alala sa akin to be grateful sa kung anong buhay mayroon ako ngayon.

Dati super thankful ko na na makapag-grocery ng mga murang snacks, ngayon nabibili ko na mga cravings ko na dati hanggang tingin lang naman ako.

Naranasan pa nga namin ng kaibigan ko na maghintay na mag 12 am sa 7/11 Bayambang para lang ma-avail 'yung buy 1 take 1 na cup noodles eh (skl).

Sa Freelancing, nakamit ko ang mga munting pangarap ko at alam kong may makakamit pa ako dahil hindi ako natatakot sumubok.

Tandang tanda ko pa rati, nanghiram lang ako ng laptop (1st picture) sa tita ko kasi nasira 'yung laptop na ginagamit ko.

I was an ESL teacher dati kaya paos and drain na nga ang energy mo sa pagtuturo, masakit pa pwet mo sa kakaupo sa sahig na magaspang kasi wala pa naman akong pambili ng pangarap kong ergonomic chair.

PERO dahil may pangarap ako at hindi ako sumuko, unti-unti ko nang nabubuo at nakukuha ang mga bagay na dati PANGARAP KO LANG.
