We’ve been incredibly impressed by the talent of everyone who auditioned, whether you’re a seasoned vocalist or just starting out on your musical journey. Your dedication and passion have truly shone through, and we’re thrilled to welcome you to the Pax Christi Choir.

The Pax Christi Choir wrapped up the weeklong event with a series of performances delivered full of enthusiasm and showcased remarkable talents last August 5-9 of 2024.

By that reason, the Pax Christi Choir warmly welcome all Senior High School, First Year college, and Transferee students on joining the club to be a part of the Pax Christi Choir. This is your 🫵 chance to develop your vocal skills, connect with fellow students, and contribute to a dynamic and supportive musical community🎙🎵🎼🎶.

Directions: Walk up the red stairs near the Computer Lab C and D, enter the first door upon going up.

REQUIREMENTS :
1. A bona fide student of Riverside College Inc.
2. All Senior High School, First Year college, and Transferee students are eligible to audition
3. Prepare to sing two (2) songs:
- one (1) pop song
- one (1) classical/broadway song

A "Never Fail" Prayer

The 𝘗𝘢𝘹 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪 𝘊𝘩𝘰𝘪𝘳 had their hearts full of prayer. They have provided the music and songs of the Concelebrated Mass of The Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel last June 16, 2024. The Holy Sacrifice of the mass was celebrated by 𝑴𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝑹𝒆𝒗. 𝑮𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒐 𝑨𝒍𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒛𝒂, 𝑫.𝑫 (𝑩𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒐𝒔) 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝑹𝒆𝒗. 𝑷𝒂𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒐 𝑩𝒖𝒛𝒐𝒏, 𝑺𝑫𝑩, 𝑫.𝑫 (𝑩𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒅), at the Carmelite Monastery and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Chaplaincy (Riverside Medical Center, Inc.).

The Carmelites are known for their emphasis on a life dedicated to prayer and contemplation. Our Lady of Mount Carmel embodies these way of life, serving as a model for those seeking a deeper connection with God.

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐧 and 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐥, members of Pax Christi Choir, represented Riverside College in the 𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐀 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝟒𝟑 𝐕𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐮𝐞𝐭 Competition on March 13, 2024 at the John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation-Bacolod Gym and bagged 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 in the said category under the coaching of 𝐌𝐫. 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐮𝐢𝐠𝐢 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐞.

You made all 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 proud!

Our search for new voices began the first week of the semester, and we were blown away by the talent that showed up! A plethora of singers poured their hearts out, showcasing their incredible skills and passion. It was a tough decision, but we're thrilled to welcome 15 amazing singers to our choir!

Congratulations to everyone who auditioned – your voices truly inspired us. Welcome to the Pax Christi Choir! We cannot wait to sing with you. 🤍

Good news, Collegians! We're opening our doors to new songbirds who are willing to showcase their voices and be part of the Riverside College's Pax Christi Choir. If you wish for an avenue to express and harness your skills in singing, there's no other way to go.

•When: January 15-19, 2024, 4:00–6:00 PM
•Where: Pax Christi Choir office

Here are the following requirements:
• Must be a bona fide student of Riverside College
• Must prepare 2 songs to be sung in acapella (1 Broadway/Classical song and 1 pop song).

"The only thing better than singing is more singing." So come with us as we venture this year with learning, experience, and growth.

The 𝑷𝒂𝒙 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒊 𝑪𝒉𝒐𝒊𝒓 ignited the spirit of Christmas at 𝑫𝒂𝒈𝒚𝒂𝒘 2023, with their intermission number of 'Apat na Buwang Kapaskuhan' of Hamili Campos-De Castro, arranged by Robert Delgado, last December 1-2, 2023 at Victorias City Coliseum🎄

Together with the Riverside College Campus Ministry, among the participating schools in the Diocese of Bacolod, they have been recognized as the "Most Participative".
