MECHANICS:

ELIGIBILITY OF THE PLAYERS

This is a campus-exclusive event for the college students of the University of Negros Occidental - Recoletos who are officially enrolled on the 2nd semester of A.Y. 2021-2022.

TEAM COMPOSITION

Each college should register six (6) members (5 main players and 1 reserve) that will represent them. Only registered players are allowed to play. No Changing of players, teams are not allowed to play a 4vs5 if a player went missing. Players/Teams who are found to have duplicate entries will have their registration voided without notice.

BRACKETS AND MATCH-MAKING

All teams will be randomized by Challonge’s system. The one randomly placed above in a match bracket with be the “first pick” and will be the one to create the game room (Tournament Draft). Games are BO3, which means that it is a race to three points, the team who will win with the most points proceed.

DEVICES AND INTERNET CONNECTIVITY

Players are responsible for their devices and internet connection (Mobile data or Wifi). If experiencing lag or unstable connection, each team is allowed to pause once with maximum time of one (1) minute. Only mobile phones/tablet must be used.

GAME START AND END

Game room owner may start the game once both teams are ready and have agreed to start the game. Teams that are not ready within 10 min from the agreed time with their opponents can be considered as no show and will be disqualified from the tournament and the waiting team will be declared as winner by default and will proceed to the next round. The team leader of the winning team should screenshot the end game result and send it to the tournament group chat for confirmation of the match result. No post-result screenshot = invalid report and disqualification.

PROPER PLAYER CONDUCT

Each participating team must be responsible for each member’s action. Trash-talking will be strictly prohibited. Any member within the team that violates any rules will be automatically disqualified.

DISQUALIFICATION

-Dishonest or fake information. This includes wrong Facebook account information, player information, location information and other lies in communication with opposing teams and Student Leaders.

-A team who shows bad behavior, toxicity and attitude problem in game, in chats, and in public postings.

-Dishonest and wrong information will disqualify the whole team. Make sure your players are not joining multiple teams or have duplicate entries.

-No show or failure to have a complete team on the agreed time and after the given 10-min time allowance.

-Any forms of cheating. This includes the use of 3rd party apps, piloting or accounts played by unregistered players, etc.

THE LEAGUE OF GOVERNORS AND THE GAME FACILITATOR HAS THE RIGHTS TO DECIDE AND HANDLE A SITUATION

The league of governors and the game facilitator are the only one authorized to have a decision-making body in the tournament.
