Acquiring good mental health does not imply that you never have terrible moments or face mental distress. We do go through ups and downs in life since it's a natural aspect of being alive. People with great mental health, on the other hand, are more able to recover from difficulty, trauma, and distress, just as physically fit people are equipped to recover from illness or injury.
Everyone seeks meaningfulness in diverse factors that enable them to help others as well as themselves. You could consider it a means to feel loved, great about yourself, a goal to strive towards the future, or perhaps a motivation to get out of bed in the morning.
We are glad to help you in strengthening and improving your mental and emotional health, especially in giving you certain measures and reminders for you to follow in your daily life. To keep you encouraged in seeking your purpose and meaning in life, there are things that you should remember regarding your Mental Health.

The answer is simple: it is impossible to prevent something that no one is aware of. Sexual assault awareness month is all about raising awareness, educating people, and preventing violence.
Sexual violence occurs in all communities and affects people of all ages and genders. R**e affects nearly 1 in every 5 women and 1 in every 71 men. Any sexual activity in which consent is not freely given is defined as sexual violence. Sexual harassment, assault, and abuse can occur in any setting, including online. For far too long, harassment, cyberbullying, and sexual abuse and exploitation have been accepted as normal and unavoidable online behaviors. Together, we can create safe online spaces by practicing digital consent, intervening when we see harmful content and behaviors, and promoting online communities that value respect, inclusion, and safety. Even if we do not directly experience sexual violence, we are all affected by how it affects communities and society, particularly survivors and their loved ones.
By recognizing the warning signs of sexual assault, you can make a difference in someone's life, whether you are a parent, educator, administrator, coworker, or friend. Given that the perpetrator in seven out of ten cases of sexual assault is someone the victim knows, it's difficult for victims to come forward. It can be difficult for someone to open up about their experience, especially if the perpetrator is someone close to them. There are numerous reasons why a victim may choose not to report sexual assault to law enforcement or anyone else.
Some of these reasons include mistrust of law enforcement, a desire to protect the attacker, and apprehension about not being believed or being treated differently.

World Health Day is celebrated annually as the world focuses on a different health topic each year. The date April 7 marks the founding day of the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1948.
Itโs not new to most of us to talk about the urgent matters that revolve around the environment. These issues affect not only a small portion of the population but the entire world itself. Now that we are in the year 2022, the WHO decided to shift our attention to the growing environmental problems that our planet is experiencing in the midst of a pandemic. Letโs not turn a blind eye because if not today, then when?
Making the environment an object of abuse and neglect is a trap that we humans create for ourselves. This is our planet, and it is our responsibility. By initiating this campaign, the organizations who are in charge, such as WHO, are calling out for help not only to a certain group of people but to the world. The problems our environment faces are not something a small group can solve. The world has to move before it is too late,

The Animolympics is one of the most anticipated events during the collegiate years, and we are celebrating it starting today. Each department aspires to win every game, as it is one of the most anticipated parts of the season. Not only students but also guests are excited to see who will win. College can be a lot of fun. We, the students, demand a level playing field; a fair and square game.
One of the most crucial aspects of any sporting activity is good sportsmanship. Good sportsmanship motivates all athletes to give it they're all. It serves as a reminder that everyone on the field is playing a sport they enjoy and want to be the best at. It also sets a good example for others, including students, spectators, and anybody else who may come into contact with the game. The ability to triumph without boasting, respect for one's opponents and the ability to lose gracefully are all hallmarks of good sportsmanship.
โWin or lose, do it fairly.โ โ Knute Rockne
Best of luck to our athletes and players! You've put in the time and effort, and now it's time for you to shine! We're all confident that you'll do fantastically well! Here are some important tips to instill in each one of us, especially players and athletes:
!!AWARENESS POST!!
There are hands that are willing to reach out when you are at your lowest. When our thoughts consume our minds, we often fail to see the things around us; we fail to see that we are not alone. May this post serve as a reminder that when you are in need of help, there are people who are willing to be there for you.
Your fights maybe your own, but that does not mean that you have to be alone. Some will watch your back, some will stand by your side. To have people support you does not mean you are weak, it means that you are strong enough to trust.
Listed in the photos are the hands that are always reaching out. If you are struggling with something yet no one is there for you, then maybe this post reached you for a reason. When the road is dark, taking shelter in someone elseโs light isnโt that bad.

For many years, Self-harm has already been considered long as a clinical phenomenon, despite the scarcity of details about its causatives. Nevertheless, the lack of details about its causatives does not mean it is not of importance at allโin fact, its signs are apparent to many people, but due to myths and stigma, some refrain from ever reporting whatever they suffer and feel to the experts and mental health professionals which could have given them the right treatment. With regards to this, this post aims to debunk or clarify some myths about Self-harm, in accordance with this month's event, the Self-Harming Prevention Month.
Non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI), often known as self-harm, is not a mental illness in itself, but rather a symptom of a lack of appropriate coping skills. It is characterized by self-harming actions and is an indication of mental anguish.
Here are some common myths and misconceptions about self-harm, debunked:

โThe only person who can pull me down is myself, and Iโm not going to let myself pull me down anymore.โ - C. JOYBELL C.
Sometimes a person doesnโt need a specific reason to self-harm, they just need to let those negative and overwhelming feelings out of their chest. Self-harm becomes their coping mechanism to punish themself or to feel in control of their lives.
People who self-harm are in need of support and attention to lessen their mental and physical sufferings. We must be sensitive in approaching them and not overreact in their situation. Listening is the least that we can do to make them feel seen and heard. Taking care of injuries is another thing that we can also do to assist them.
We only have one body and itโs important that we take good care of it. Self-care is a way to recover after a heavy challenge.

March 1, 2022, marks Self-Injury Awareness Day. Raising awareness about self-injury is incredibly important. Awareness leads to understanding and empathy, banishing judgment and fear, and reducing the number of people who feel alone and suffer in silence.
Self-injury occurs in many forms, including cutting, scratching, punching, and ingestion of chemicals. Those who self-harm do so for a variety of reasons. Some of them include coping with fear, stress, anxiety, or inducing positive feelings. The vicious cycle recurs because, after the self-injurious act, the individual will be inclined to feel shame or guilt. This results in significant anguish, leading them to self-injure once again. It is a spiral of shame and guilt, followed by relief and emotional release.

Stop looking in the mirror for imperfections and start focusing on all the wonderful qualities you possess.
Allow yourself to love and accept yourself for who you are (even with messy hair, bloated belly, spots, stretch marks, and cellulitis).
You are beautiful beyond measure --- I hope you can see it, too!
Self-love isn't only liking how you look for a day; it's about liking yourself when you don't like how you appear.
It doesn't only mean liking yourself when you achieve something positive but also liking yourself when you make mistakes or mess up.
The most important relationship we have is our relationship with ourselves.
Many of us have lost touch with our true selves. We've spent our lives trying to please others, hoping to be chosen, and seeking external approval and validation.
We betray ourselves and lose faith in our own words in the process.
FORGIVE YOURSELF EASILY.
Maybe, the relationship you've been searching for . . . is the one with yourself?

Have you and your significant other, or even friends, been going on a loop of endless misunderstandings? Well, maybe itโs time to assess your actions.
Great relationships are not just great out of fate. It takes all parties to exert effort in order for the relationship to actually work. Our actions affect one another, even if it may not seem like it.
It is called a relationship, after all.
It is a matter of knowing and respecting. Welcoming someone new means welcoming their whole life. Due to their past experiences, their hearts might be too fragile and their minds might be too weary. Having them in your life gives you the responsibility of feeling the heaviness of their shoes.
Learn and remember the things that you must and mustn't do in a relationship. Relationship requires effort and patience. It is not something you just play with recklessly. Something you donโt take care of tends to break apart easily.
Have you ever wondered how people maintain their good relationships with others? Or ponder on what a relationship should look or feel like? We, humans, are naturally born as social beings. We need to form bonds with others in order to survive and live a fulfilled life. Relationships are an essential part of our journey, it helps us grow and have a deeper sense of understanding of ourselves and the people we encounter.
As we age, our understanding of relationships expands. We now have the capacity to build different types of relationships with people that are anchored with mutual interests, trust, respect, and love.
Healthy relationships have been proven to increase our happiness, improve health and reduce stress. Studies show that people with healthy relationships have more happiness and less stress. There are basic ways to make relationships healthy, even though each relationship is unique. These tips apply to all kinds of relationships: friendships, work, family relationships, and romantic partnerships.
Some relationships are hard to navigate. ALWAYS have a sense of purpose in starting one. And remember, everyone deserves a chance to love and be loved!

๐ช๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐ is an international day marked on February 4.
This event is celebrated to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. Every year, World Cancer Day aims to save millions of lives by increasing cancer awareness and education, as well as urging governments and individuals around the world to take action against the disease. The Union for International Cancer Control took this initiative to campaign and advocate for the World Cancer Declaration's targets, which were drafted in 2008.
The theme for World Cancer Day 2022 is '๐ช๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐,' and it is a campaign aimed at recognizing and understanding structural inequalities in cancer care around the world. This is the year to push the boundaries and help reduce stigma; to listen to the perspectives of cancer patients and their communities, and let those lived experiences guide our thoughts and actions.

Everyone doesn't have any flawless mental health or well-being most of the moment. We must all learn how to balance the various facets of life. Once changes happen in our lives, we must re-establish harmony. Nevertheless, unresolved mental health issues can have a significant impact on your well-being.
๐พ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐ ๐พ๐๐๐๐๐๐?
Mental wellness is a condition of good mental health. It is about more than the absence of mental illness. Learn what it signifies to be mentally healthy and how it could indeed keep you going to a more meaningful life. Being mentally healthy implies that your intellect is in good condition and working in your finest interests. You have the ability to critically think, feel, and behave in manners that improve your personal and cognitive well-being.

Good Afternoon Lasallian Community! The Mental Health Circle Committee extends its warm welcome for the success of The MHC Page. Mental health is very important in our human life, yet it has been the most neglected area of Public Health. Mental health determines how you handle stress, how you relate to others, and how you make healthy choices.
But no worries the MHC Page will become your safe space, this page wouldn't be created without the help of the students under the College of Arts.

We're back with another episode of our webinar series "Ka-talk: Challenging Misconceptions about Mental Health and Therapy"
If you're feeling under the weather, fret not, because we feel for you and we'll seek shelter together. You can definitely stand under our umbrella, ella, ella, eh eh eh โ
As we wait for the storm clouds to calm away, sheltering with us are Dr. Ramon F. Lachica and Mr. Rollin Jay T. Libo-on.
Dr. Lachica is a registered Psychologist at Better Days Ahead Recovery Center - Bacolod and serves as a Professor on the Department of Psychology, USLS Bacolod. He will put into light the topic about Frustration Tolerance among the Youth. As for the second juncture of the second episode, Mr. Libo-on, the director for Promotions and Partnership at Mental Health Negros will illuminate us with the topic of Counselors and their roles in Schools and the Community.
We are looking forward to be packed with great understanding and nuggets of wisdom with these seasoned educators!
As we dance through the storm together, we would like to ask you to prepare a piece of paper and a pen for the webinar. We hope that you will flourish and feel sunny after we wrap up Episode 2. Hope to see you there on January 17, 2021 at 1:00-3:30pm!
