LANAI by FreshStart is not only a restaurant, but also a social enterprise that promotes sustainability and respect for the environment and the preservation of our food and cultural biodiversity.

LANAI's food concept is to highlight the food biodiversity of Negros Island, from the land to the sea. We use many ingredients from the Slow Food Ark of Taste.

The vision is to educate people and celebrate these ingredients, or in short, eat them to save them before they get forgotten, and to create a positive impact on the local community and the environment.

Our FreshStart Piaya is available at the Designer's Holiday Bazaar at Glorietta Activity Center until December 10,2023!

At FreshStart, we take pride in our artisanal piaya because it is handmade and made from scratch with no artificial flavorings or stabilizers. We use raw muscovado and natural and organic ingredients to make this bestseller. We turn different local ingredients such as peanuts, Bignay berries, squash, cacao, and calamansi into jams. These jams are then combined with muscovado to create our bestselling chewy piaya. We only use high-quality and premium ingredients in creating our piaya, which gives it its chewy and flavorful taste. Our piaya is not only a snack or a dessert at our cafe and restaurant but also a gift and a favorite pasalubong item that represents the sweetness and warmth of Negros Occidental.
