Slapsoil a seven-month-old punk rock band based in Bacolod, has just unveiled their debut single, titled "The Children of the Streets." The band stands out as one of the most dedicated acts in Bacolod City's music scene. Remarkably, their drummer only started playing drums in February 2023—how impressive is that?

This December, they have exciting plans to release a five-track EP. Furthermore, in January, they are slated to join the tour of "Friends You Can Keep," a punk rock band hailing from Batangas City. The tour will include performances in Cebu, Bacolod, and Iloilo City. Keep an eye out for more music from SLAPSOIL!

We are excited to announce an upcoming event that aims to make a positive impact on our coastal ecosystem. We invite everyone to join us for a Coastal Clean-up and Mangrove Planting activity on July 1st.

This event provides a wonderful opportunity to contribute.

No Registration Fee‼️
You just need to buy a batch of seedlings from the Locals

-Bring your own food
-Bring extra clothes,slippers or boots & Umbrella
Sometimes the weather is challenging
-Bring Your own Trash Bags & Gloves

Our target is to plant 2,000 Mangrove Seedlings before 2023 ends, as of June 2023 - we already planted 1,200 Mangrove Seedlings.

We will also visit the area where we planted the mangroves from time to time and check the improvements or changes, we are dreaming of a Wider Mangrove Forest in our coastal areas that all of us will benefit and even the next generation.
