Ngayong October 10, 2023, World Mental Health Day, we must appreciate the importance of our mental health. Dapat nating malaman ang mga posibleng sintomas, o maagang senyales ng mental illness. Maaaring makatulong ang maagang interbensyon na mawala o bawasan ang kalubhaan ng isang sakit.

Kung nangyayari ang ilan sa mga sumusunod, maaaring sumangguni sa ating mga doktor o mga eksperto.

MGA POSIBLENG INDIKASYON o SINTOMAS
🚩Matinding pagbabago sa pagtulog o gana sa pagkain.
🚩Mabilis na pagbabago sa mood.
🚩Social Withdrawal / Isolation.
🚩Problema sa konsentrasyon, memorya o at laman ng pananalita.
🚩Hindi normal na sensitivity sa ingay, amoy o sitwasyon.
🚩Kawalang-interes sa anumang aktibidad.
🚩Hindi lohikal na pag-iisip
🚩Hindi normal na takot o paghihinala sa ibang tao.
🚩Hindi pangkaraniwang pag-uugali.
🚩Malaking pagbabago sa mga ginagampanang tungkulin sa paaralan o trabaho

Kung ang isang tao ay nakakaranas ng ilan sa mga nabanggit na sintoma at nagdudulot ang mga ito ng malubhang problema sa kakayahang mag-aral, magtrabaho o makipag-ugnayan sa iba, dapat siyang magpatingin sa isang propesyonal na eksperto sa kalusugang mental.

Ang mga taong nag-iisip o may planong magpakamatay, o nag-iisip na saktan ang iba, ay nangangailangan ng agarang atensyon. Magtulungan po tayo.
