ANIMO! It's a gold medal haul for the University’s De La Salle Chorale at the Taipei International Choral Competition, as they prevailed in the Mixed Choir Category and the Ethnic Traditional Music Category on August 1.

The competition, held in Taiwan, offered participants a tremendous choral experience, including high-quality competitions, a panel of international jurors, a series of workshops and master classes, and several international concerts.

DLSC is led by conductor Serry Repique and artistic director Nini Gamilla.

De La Salle Chorale Achieves Historic Milestone at Taipei International Choral Festival

Congratulations to the De La Salle Chorale! The entire USLS - Artists Hub is bursting with pride as the chorale sets a remarkable new record. In just two years, the talented group has earned TWO GOLD AWARDS at the prestigious Taipei International Choral Festival (TICF).

This outstanding achievement highlights the exceptional skill and dedication of our performers.

Bravo to the De La Salle Chorale for this historic accomplishment!

As we indulge ourselves in this new experience, ✨ we realized along the way how rough of a path it is to join a competition where prominent dancers are present. 👯‍♀️

This competition was one of JBDC’s first 🌟 after many years, and to dance with renowned champions and diverse dancers, 💃🕺 even when our styles are colliding and different from each other, felt like a dream we achieved not just as individual dancers but as one company and one body after all. 🎩👟🩰

The Jean Baptiste Dance Company is thankful for all the support and cheers, 👏🏼 as well as the members' exhaustion and perseverance to bring home victory. 🎉

IWAG IMAGEMAKERS COLLECTIVE JOINS FOTOMOTO PHILIPPINES 2024: “Sa Dulo Ng Dalampasigan” 📸

From traversing the streets with cameras on hand to sitting down for inspiring talks spearheaded by accomplished photographers, IWAG members immersed in FotoMoto PH’s “Sa Dulo ng Dalampasigan” this July 6, 2024.

This is FotoMoto’s third year in collaboration with Orange Project where they held activities such as art exhibitions, portfolio reviews, photo walks, and the like. 📸
