Roughly 20 days officially in office, it is right for the student body to know the direction of the College of Engineering & Computing Studies for Academic Year 2024-2025.

The LTE Framework for Student Development serves as the foundation of student activities for this year. It aims to streamline the implementation of outcomes and objectives to ensure the success of every organization throughout the Higher Education Unit.

With the LTE Framework, the College of Engineering & Computing Studies will be strengthening this through its flagship programs— all adhering to the vision that needs to be addressed by the framework. Through this, we are rebooting the system of governance: aligning the vision of our administration with the direction of the offices and the core values of our university; creating a more solid approach to student activities; and providing opportunities for every Lasalista to grow holistically, develop the innate passion for service; and realize what it means to be ONE Lasallian community.

With Tigers' Cosmic Voyage, CECS Merchandise: Operation Fueling our Mission, & CECS-Lympics: Tigers' Clawsseum, we aspire to build every Lasalista with an organization that is for, by, and always with them. An organization that is outcome-driven, putting all sectors at the center in building a more inclusive Engineering & Computing Studies community for all.

Now the question is, 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀? The programs that we will be implementing will be given much attention at the right time. ❕𝙂𝙐𝙄𝘿𝙀𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙀𝙎 ❕

1. The 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 of auditions will be held at the Primary Covered Court on 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM.

2. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆 1 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 accompanied with appropriate music of your choice that will highlight your skills in dancing and must not contain any cuts, compilations, or additional sound effects.

3. Auditions must be done in 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗢.

4. 𝗢𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲. Wearing sleeveless tops, a plunging neckline, haltered sleeves, backless shirts, spaghetti-strapped blouses, see-throughs, and hanging blouses are not allowed.

5. For those who will successfully pass the first round, please clear your schedules! The 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 of auditions will be held on August 31 (Saturday) at Art District from 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM. Hang tight for the announcement of passers!

The university has formally started a new academic year and welcomed new freshmen. Over a thousand students have already been accepted and more are still enrolling, and in order to accommodate more students, the enrollment period has been extended until August 16, 2024. It is mandatory for both new and continuing students to wear their school uniforms; however, freshmen must comply by 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆, giving them a hard time due to the demand for uniforms and the lack of supplies. In order to address this issue, the college governors are organizing a donation drive titled "𝙍𝙚𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙎: 𝙋𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙩 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙."This initiative aims to collect necessary educational materials, particularly school uniforms, to support students in need. Starting from 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟰 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟮, alumni and students are encouraged to donate their unused uniforms by placing them in the 𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙗𝙤𝙭𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙩 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 and as well as 𝙞𝙣 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙊𝙎𝘼 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚.
