YOUTH INSTRUCTOR TRAINING COURSE 2024
Calling all qualified Red Cross Youth Members to join the upcoming Youth Instructors Training Course on July 21 to 30, 2024, at Brgy. Patag, Silay City. This 10-day training is designed for aspiring volunteers to become part of the esteemed roster of YOUTH INSTRUCTORS for the YOUTH VOLUNTEERS FORMATION COURSE.
This program focuses on engaging, empowering, and developing the next generation of youth leaders.

Basic Qualifications:
✅Must have undergone the Leadership Development Program (LDP) or Youth Volunteer Formation Course (YVFC)
✅Must have an unexpired Membership with Accidental Assistance Benefits (MAAB).
✅Must be active for the last six (6) months.
✅ Must be at least 17 years old and not more than 30 years old.

The John B Lacson Colleges Foundation Bacolod - College Red Cross Youth Volunteers were deployed and were able to serve and assist for the 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 led by 𝐄/𝐂 𝐍𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐃. 𝐂𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐍. Lacson Colleges Foundation Bacolod - College Red Cross Youth Council celebrated 2024 Earth Day with "𝑮𝒖𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒂𝒔𝒕: 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑬𝒄𝒐𝒔𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒎 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆." focused on 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧-𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 at Purok Punta balas, Florenceville, Barangay Pahanocoy, Bacolod City April 20, 2024.
This activity was initiated by 𝐌𝐝𝐩𝐧. 𝐉𝐫𝐞𝐱 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐥 𝐀. 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐦 and 𝐄/𝐂 𝐍𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐃. 𝐂𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧, with the point to secure the shoreline from devastation, and secure the coastal communities against tsunamis, tall winds, coastal flooding, and waves.
The youth volunteers successfully plant 10,000 mangrove seeds.This activity aims to not only clean up coastal areas but also to contribute to the restoration and preservation of vital marine ecosystems through mangrove planting, an essential effort in safeguarding the coastline and supporting biodiversity.
John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation Bacolod - College Red Cross Youth Council took part in the Coastal clean up and Mangrove planting activity in collaboration with JCI Bacolod Inc., Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation Inc. (NWTF), Community Extension School Organization (CESO), Earthguard Organization, 824th NROTC-Unit of the JBLCF-B, Model Student Society, SagJuan, Liceo de La Salle - Senior Plus Red Cross Youth Council, Ramon Torres National High School - Senior Plus Red Cross Youth Council, Sum-ag National High School - Senior Plus Red Cross Youth Council, NESAPh Papa Isio Chapter No. 6 and ACA Wing Walkers Rover Scout Circle 38.
