Daily Seed
This page is made to be a vessel of the Word of God, for Him to be heard and let His will be made upon people who want to walk with God and do His will.
To sow seeds of faith, hope, and love in the hearts of people. 1 Cor 13:13 The Greatest is LOVE.
Hebrews 4:10 NIV
[10] for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.
Hebrews 4:13 NIV
[13] Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
God Knows
Proverbs 21:2-3 NIV
[2] A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart. [3] To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.
People think everything they do is right, but God knows their motives. That is why we have to be careful and always be watchful, not everyone who does favor on you is good. Pray to God that He may reveal what motive they have on you. In the last days where people became lovers of money and of themselves, they may have hidden motives, that do not care for anyone's welfare. What we should do is to always pray to God. To always guide us on the godly people. Who fears God, and has care and love for others. God is the only one who knows the heart of every individual. Praying is the right thing to do.
Proverbs 12:25 NIV
[25] Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.
Isaiah 43:1-13 NIV
[1] But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. [2] When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. [3] For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead. [4] Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life. [5] Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. [6] I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ and to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’ Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth— [7] everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.” [8] Lead out those who have eyes but are blind, who have ears but are deaf. [9] All the nations gather together and the peoples assemble. Which of their gods foretold this and proclaimed to us the former things? Let them bring in their witnesses to prove they were right, so that others may hear and say, “It is true.” [10] “You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. [11] I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior. [12] I have revealed and saved and proclaimed— I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “that I am God. [13] Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?”

Kindness of the Lord
1Peter 2:1-16
V 2-3
Be like newborn babies always thirsty for the pure spiritual milk, so that by drinking it you may grow up and be saved. As the scripture says, “You have found out for yourselves how kind the Lord is”.
In v3 says, “You have found out for yourselves how kind the Lord is”. You have experienced for yourself the goodness of God. Because of His kindness we have been born again. In v2 says be like new born babies always thirsty for the pure spiritual milk. By drinking it you may grow up and be saved.” Spiritual milk is the Word of God that nourishes our soul. Without it we will not grow. To grow up we need to fill ourselves with the Word of God that nourishes our soul to become mature in faith.
Sins:
• All evil things that we do
Lying -pandaraya
Hypocrisy -pagkukunwari
Jealousy -pagkakainggit
Insulting -paninirang puri
These will only bring failures in our lives. Being a Christian, we should not possess it. These are obstacle for our growth. The Word of God will help us not to indulge ourselves with these sins and it will change us into a person that God created us to be.
• Rejecting the Lord
They will stumble and fall. This is the greatest sin of the world. People who reject Jesus are already been judged. Don’t ever reject the Lord, for He is the only way for our salvation. John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Instruction:
1. Rid yourselves, then, of all evil (v1)
Turn away from evil things that you do or say. There are willingness to turn from sins, from things that ruin lives, family, and friends. There’s a change of heart and mind and all these evil things do not bring joy to you anymore but saddened you. You are changing into a new being, what you desire now is to become closer to God by doing what right in His sight. When you think about His kindness it became shameful for us to do evil in His eyes.
2. Be like a newborn baby thirsty of spiritual milk (v2)
Be thirsty of the word of God, by giving time to God, praying, and nourishing your soul by reading and meditating The Word of God. Allowing the Word of God to teach you and imitate the kindness of the Lord toward us. He showed His kindness to us even though
we don’t deserve it and are sinful but God still showed His kindness to us because of His love. God doesn’t want us to perish but to have everlasting life.
3. Come to the Lord (v4)
By reading and meditating His Word you come near to Him and experience His goodness and kindness. The Lord is the living stone V6 Cornerstone- placed to be the foundation. That whoever believes in Him will never be disappointed.
4. Come as living stones (v5)
Be ready to serve the Lord. Be useful in building the spiritual temple, where you will serve as priests to offer spiritual and acceptable sacrifices to God through Jesus Christ. By offering ourselves to God to serve Him through Jesus Christ. It doesn’t mean to be ordained as priest but rather to devote our lives in serving to build the spiritual temple. Jesus is the foundation of our faith and we are the believers of Christ who serve to help spread the good news of salvation to all the people. God use people to spread the good news of salvation. He uses them in different ways to reach people in far places, help the needy. God doesn’t want us to be lazy, and become stagnant, but to become useful in His temple doing His will in building people in faith to come and to know Jesus. You who are alive and received salvation from the Lord should also imitate what Christ did on earth. He did not waste time, He did not acquire wealth, what He did is to serve the Father and follow His will. He did not become lazy and wait for nothing.
5. Do not give in to bodily passions (v11)
Do not follow the desires of the flesh which are always at war against the soul.
Our body is sinful, we are easy to get angry, to rebel, to get even with people who hurt us, speak foul words to others that irritates us, selfishness, corrupt, liars, disrespectful, these are only some of the desires of our flesh and these is always against our soul. That is why we need not to give-in to the desires of our body. We will noy live forever in this world. Our lives have a time limit and
we are just stranger in this world. Time will come that we will leave this world. Live your life that pleases our creator. Because He is the one who owns our life. And also, live righteously for others to see your good deeds. When the time they accuse you, they will acknowledge your good deeds.
Application:
• Be good abiding citizens
• Have a good conduct at all times
• Live as free by not using your freedom to cover up evil but live as God’s slaves
• Respect everyone
• Love other believers
• Honor God
• Give time to God and follow His will
Prayer:
God thank you for your mercy and kindness. Help me to be kind to others even to undeserved people. Change my mind and my heart Lord. Let your will be done in my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Proverbs 5:18-23 NLT
[18] Let your wife be a fountain of blessing for you. Rejoice in the wife of your youth. [19] She is a loving deer, a graceful doe. Let her breasts satisfy you always. May you always be captivated by her love. [20] Why be captivated, my son, by an immoral woman, or fo**le the breasts of a promiscuous woman? [21] For the Lord sees clearly what a man does, examining every path he takes. [22] An evil man is held captive by his own sins; they are ropes that catch and hold him. [23] He will die for lack of self-control; he will be lost because of his great foolishness.
Juan 12:47-50 MBB05
My prayer for you
Let this message of God be upon you, May the Word of God open your mind to understand His word. May this change your mind and heart in Jesus' name. Amen.
GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE
1 Peter 1:1-25
1 From Peter, apostle of Jesus Christ—
To God's chosen people who live as refugees scattered throughout the provinces of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia. 2 You were chosen according to the purpose of God the Father and were made a holy people by his Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be purified by his blood.
May grace and peace be yours in full measure.
God chose His people. These people of God were chosen by God according to the purpose of God the Father. As you read in verse 2 The Father who chose, The Holy Spirit who made them holy, and to obey Jesus Christ, who made them pure by His blood. They are 3 in one God who are working in unity for the chosen people of God. Working in unity to give us a new life, He called us God’s chosen people. We cannot make our lives new because it is so hard for us to change our ways, our flesh is sinful in nature. It’s easy for us to make decisions, to speak, and did things on our own without thinking if it's good or bad for us, and without thinking, might be the consequence of every sinful mistake that we make. There are so many things that we cannot get rid of in our lives. But when God chose you as His own, He can make your life new. You will be born again. God made and called us all but, only few are chosen to be His own. As chosen people of God what do we need to do now?
The Chosen People of God;
1. Give thanks to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ v3
- Because of His mercy, He gave us a new life by raising Jesus Christ from death. This fills us with living hope.
- v4 We look forward to possessing the rich blessings that God keeps for His people.
He keeps them for you in heaven, where they cannot decay or spoil or fade away.
v5 They are for you, who through faith are kept safe by God's power for the salvation which is ready to be revealed at the end of time.
2. Be glad v6
- Even though you get sad sometimes because of so many different trials you suffer.
- V7 its purpose is to prove that your faith is genuine. Even gold which can be destroyed is tested on fire; and so is your faith, which is much more precious than gold, your faith must also be tested so that it may endure. So that when the time Jesus Christ is revealed you will receive praise and glory and honor.
3. Love God
- Even though you have not seen Him.
- You believe in Him
- You rejoice with great and glorious joy which words cannot express.
V10-12 Because, you receive the salvation of your soul which is the purpose of your faith. The Salvation that came long time ago, the time when Jesus Christ revealed His sufferings and death on the cross. This was revealed to the prophets that their work was not for their benefit but for who hear the Good News from the messenger by the Power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven.
4. Have your mind ready for action v13
- Keep alert, do not be a sleepy head and do not be lazy. Be always ready to do the will of God.
- Set your hope on the blessings given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. Blessing that is not rotten like material things, riches nor money but the gift of salvation that you will receive from God.
5. Be obedient to God v14
- It says, “Obedience is better than sacrifice. If you find it hard to obey God, ask for His help and He will help you. But it should also be seen in your action. You are obeying even if you can’t, and even if you fail, when you pray and ask for His help, he will help you.
- Do not allow your lives to be shaped by those desires you had when you were still ignorant. When we were miles away from God, there were so many things that we liked to acquire, desiring things that were not important. Do not allow these things to form you but allow your life to be molded by God, through His word of truth. Listening and reading His Word and abiding His Word.
6. Be Holy in all you do v15
Be holy in all you do, just as God who called you is holy.
V16 The scriptures say, “Be holy because I am holy”
Father God is holy His children as well. A good tree will not bear bad fruit but rather a good tree will bear good fruit.
7. Call Him Father when you pray to God v17
- He is a Father who loves His children. A Father who desires goodness for His children. He who judges people by the same standard, according to what each one has done.
8. Spend your life on earth in reverence for Him v17
- Show respect for Him while living on earth. For we know what He paid to set us free from worthless manner of life.
- v19 it was the costly sacrifice of Christ, who was like a lamb without defect or flaw.
- v21 Through him you believe in God, who raised him from death and gave him glory; and so your faith and hope are fixed on God.
God choose you, by obeying truth. Love reigns in you by having a sincere love for other believers. Love one another earnestly with all your heart.
v23 For through the living and eternal word of God you have been born again as the children of a parent who is immortal, not mortal. 24 As the scripture says,
v24 As the scripture says,
“All human beings are like grass,
and all their glory is like wild flowers.
The grass withers, and the flowers fall,
v25 but the word of the Lord remains forever.”
This word is the Good News that was proclaimed to you.
Thank you Father for choosing your people to be with you.
Ezekiel 22:27 NLT
[27] Your leaders are like wolves who tear apart their victims. They actually destroy people’s lives for money!
1 Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory
in the heavens.
2 Through the praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
3 When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?[c]
5 You have made them[d] a little lower than the angels[e]
and crowned them[f] with glory and honor.
6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their[g] feet:
7 all flocks and herds,
and the animals of the wild,
8 the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
9 Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
Psalm 8:1-9
The Lord’s Greatness
Psalm 8:1-9
The Lord’s greatness is seen in all the world!
His praises reaches up to the heavens;
The Lord’s greatness is seen in all the world! You can see it with your eyes. In verse 2 says, through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger. His children give praise to the Lord and it reaches the heavens. Heaven is where God dwells. Through the praises of His children, He have established a stronghold against His enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
When you look around the whole world, you will see the greatness of God, praises will come out of your mouth saying “God is amazing God!” When I was a child, every time I looked at the heavens, I would say “God ang galing mo!” when I said these words, I felt like my heart would explode in so much admiration of the Lord. Every time I look at the stars at night, I’m in awe of the Lord’s greatness and say “God, Ang galing mo talaga! Me, my sisters, niece and nephews love to go up the roof and lie down there. I imagined that at the bottom of the earth, without gravity, I would fall but I did not, again I said, “God ang galing, galing mo talaga!” My heart is filled with admiration of God’s greatness. At a young age, I was not aware of what I saying, that I was praising the creator of everything, the sun, moon, stars, animals, The Creator of all, my Creator, who is so great and deserves all the praises. Now, I realize that what I was doing at that time was praising the Lord. Why did I say those words to God? Why did I praise God? Because I see the greatness of God in all His creations. I see it with my own eyes. You can see His greatness when you look around and you’ll know that, the only one who can do all the wonderful things around us is God.
In verse 4-8 says
4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?
5 You have made them[d] a little lower than the angels[e]
and crowned them[f] with glory and honor.
6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their[g] feet:
7 all flocks and herds,
and the animals of the wild,
8 the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
God is great, no one could match Him but He still managed to preserve the people. People have nothing to prove, they are weak but God cared for them. He even gave them authority over all and made them a bit lower to God. God even crowned them with glory and honor. Why? A big question in my mind, I asked the Lord why? The Lord answered me. "Because I love you”. He loves every human being he made. John 3:16 For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten son, that who so ever believes in Him will not perish but will have everlasting life. Because of His great love to all of us. He gave His Son whom He loves to die to save us. That is so much love for us. God showed us His great love when he gave His one and only son because He doesn’t want us to perish but to have eternal life. To live in heaven, where He is, there He wants us too, to be with Him eternally. Wow! That is so amazing!
God is so great!
He did not just give us all we need but, He wants us to live with Him in heaven.
What a wonderful God we have! The God who has so much love for His people.
Reflection:
How do you show your love to your creator?
Do you trust the Lord?
Do you praise God in everything that you have?
Prayer:
Thank you Lord for your Love. Fill our hearts with love for us to love others. Help us that our words and actions will give glory to your name. In Jesus' name. Amen!
Lost But found
Luke 19:1-10
Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:9-10
This whole chapter reveals that Jesus came to seek and save the lost. When a person, he/she is unable to find his/her way back. They know that they are lost and need someone's help to be able to find the way back home. Jesus did not come to those who think they are not lost but the truth is they are really lost. Verse 10 says "The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost". The name "Son of Man" is Jesus himself.
The scripture describes Zacchaeus as a chief tax collector, rich and a sinner. Zacchaeus knew that he was a sinner. He made a genuine repentance because he had that great desire to know who Jesus was. Jesus declared to Zacchaeus that, "Today salvation has come to this house".
How to have salvation?
1. Have a strong desire to see Jesus
Desiring Jesus is feeling thirsty to see and experience the presence of the Lord.
Zacchaeus, because of his great desire to know Jesus. He did everything to see Him. He even encountered obstacles that hindered him to Jesus but, he did not give up until he saw Jesus with his own eyes. The obstacles that Zacchaeus encountered are the same obstacles that people encounter today. 1st is the crowd, this crowd maybe, a group of people who are stopping you. 2nd is stature, it refers to a person’s height or the high level of respect with which he is regarded. Zacchaeus knew that he was short, he wouldn’t see Jesus because of the crowd. Also, he thought that a sinner like him was unworthy. 3rd People, criticize him because he is a sinner, who is unworthy to be near to Jesus. Zacchaeus succeeded because he had much desire to see Jesus. He did not let the obstacles stop him.
2. Be persistent
If you are persistent you take action.
Zacchaeus did not stop, he acted and moved to see Jesus.
In verse 4-5 says, He ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him (Jesus). For He was going to pass that way. 5 When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.” 6 So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly.
When Zacchaeus finally saw and met Jesus. He was filled with so much Joy. The true joy only comes from the Lord. Jesus knew Zacchaeus' heart, that is why He called Zaccheus to quickly come down because He must stay in His house. Zacchaeus opened his heart and his house to Jesus.
3. Have a genuine repentance V8
A person who turns to God in genuine repentance and faith will be saved
Zacchaeus turns to Jesus, having faith in Jesus. He knew from his heart that Jesus will help him.
Jesus is able to give him salvation. Jesus declared to Zaccheus that day that “Salvation has come to his house.
Reflection:
Do you desire to see Jesus?
Are there any obstacles that are hindering you to see Jesus?
Don’t let it stop you. He is able to help you succeed.
Is your heart open to receive Jesus? If yes, Jesus is declaring “Salvation has come to your house.”
Prayer:
Lord God thank you for your message.
Give me that great desire to see your face. I need you and I am nothing without you.
Forgive all I have sins in my thoughts, in my words, my actions. Be the Lord and Savior of my life. Reign in my heart forever. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
