Least / Best

When can we say that we give our best? Was it when we felt so exhausted that we are about to fall? Was it when we gave out all that we have and there’s nothing left for us?

How about when we say: “this is the least that I can do.” Does it mean we explain ourselves because we were not able to extend beyond our capacity? Or do we mean that we are currently limited because of the circumstances we are tied into?

How about those people who dared to fight for what they believe in even if their situation is not favorable to them? It all boils down to excuses we have in our heads when we are not so sure of what steps to take in.

The bible is filled with stories of “little people” who became big because of the faith that they put into the one who holds it all – our Heavenly Father. The people GOD called into his service were not qualified by worldly standards, yet the LORD equipped them and anointed them to fulfill the task he had for them in mind.

It is normal to have some doubts when we are entering a new season or chapter in our life. Nobody has it all figured out, but eventually, when we allow the Holy Spirit to guide us, our Heavenly Father will see to it that we are competent enough to be champion that he meant us to be.

Incomplete

When somebody is taken from us through death – it’s never easy. It takes time for us to recover and when we get up from grieving, it is not the same. A part of us is left void.

We can attempt to make things appear normal, yet deep inside us there’s a nagging thought that something is missing. As days, weeks, months and years go by, we try to fill that gap to numb the pain. People, activities, material things even travelling are some of the tools we use to move on to the next stage.

But there are just circumstances that will remind us of that faithful event and then where back to where we started again. We try to dig ourselves out of the pit of loneliness and despair once more but if we are not careful, we’ll return to the cycle again.

Fortunately, GOD has a plan. He never meant for us to stay in that dark abyss of Hopelessness. He meant for us to live our life to the fullest despite of the lost that we went through. Our LORD is our comforter, he will grant us the strength we need to endure the days ahead and eventually, we will have the peace coming from him which surpasses understanding.

Inseparable

We all know that what separates a human being from an animal is the reasoning ability that we have along with the emotions involved in it. Our Heavenly Father is such a gentleman to the point that he gave us a free will.

Sometimes, in our lives, we enter into a phase of "I know it all". To our detriment, we commit mistakes because of our stubbornness. We tried to fix what we can, but there are times that no matter what effort we exert in, the damage is beyond repair.

Good thing though, that we always have our just and merciful GOD who we can run to and who will accept us back as soon as we repent and admit what we did wrong. Our LORD would never abandon us as long as we remain in his refuge.

HE cancels the debts we owe to him when we turn our backs from the transgression that we made. Nothing can separate us from him. Though we always have a choice, the best option is still to abide in his love and care through his own son our LORD Jesus Christ.
