Our Batch 23 of Computer Literacy Training on Office Productivity Software started today, Sept. 4, with discussions and tutorial about Introductory Topics such as Computer Essentials, File and Desktop Management, and Microsoft Word.

MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR No. 019-2024

In light of the declaration of the Provincial Government of suspension of classes in all levels in both public and private schools, and work in all government offices in the province, and in view of the severe flooding due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon brought about by Tropical Depression ENTENG, CLASSES in ALL LEVELS, in both public and private schools, as well as WORK in GOVERNMENT OFFICES in the City of Bacoor are hereby SUSPENDED tomorrow, Tuesday, 03 September 2024.

However, those offices whose functions involve providing essential public services and are directly involved in disaster/emergency management operations (like BDRRMO, City Engineering Office, CESD, City Health Office, CSWDO, BTMD, BPSU, CICU, GSO, OBO, etc.) shall continue with their regular operations and render the necessary services.

Furthermore, all other offices shall activate their respective duty teams to assist in disaster response and management operations.

This circular shall take effect immediately.

As an Information Communication Technology (ICT) student from Five Star Standard College (FSSC), I entered my internship with high expectations of gaining real-world experience to enhance my technical skills. From my first day during my immersion week, I learned the importance of effective communication and saw a significant improvement in my skills. Noong August 16 ay masayang natapos ng 25 Bacooreños ang limang araw nilang pag-aaral ng Office Productivity Software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint at Canva) sa Bacoor Computer Center.

Ito ay tugon sa hangarin ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Bacoor at ng DICT Reg. IVA, sa pamamagitan ng E-Governance Department, na maihatid ang mga programa at serbisyong magbibigay ng dagdag kaalaman sa ating mamamayan tungkol sa makabagong teknolohiya.

Ito ay dinaluhan ng mahigit isang daang participants kabilang na ang mga Clubhouse Members and Mentors. Dumalo rin ang Brgy. Poblacion Chairman na si Coun. Randy Francisco at Brgy. Kagawad Mac Raven Espiritu, mga BDRRMO staff at ilang staff ng E-Governance Department na nakisaya at nakipaglaro sa aming mga Clubhouse members.

Batch 9 of Visual Graphic Design Trainees successfully finished the 3-Day Summer Workshop and became new members of Bacoor Computer Clubhouse Network.

This workshop, a project of our City Mayor, Hon. Strike B. Revilla in partnership with DICT Region IVA - Cavite, aims to empower our youth on digital literacy.

Ito ay naisakatuparan sa pamamagitan ng pamunuan ng Bacoor E-Governance Departmentt, DICT Region IVA - Cavite, Bacoor City Social Welfare Development Department at ng Bacoor Computer and Tech4ED Center. Ang programang ito ni Mayor Strike B. Revilla para sa lahat ng mamamayan ng Bacoor ay isang malaking hakbang tungo sa pagkakaroon ng mahalagang kaalaman sa ICT ng mga Bacooreños.

The said workshop is one of the projects of our City Mayor, Hon. Strike B. Revilla, in partnership with DICT Region IVA - Cavite, aimed to empower our youth on digital literacy.

Day 2 of our 3-day Summer Workshop on Graphic Design was filled with creativity and skill-building! Clubhouse members honed their Text Basics and Pen Tool expertise in Adobe Illustrator, bringing their logo and calling card sketches to life.
