But with small yet valuable steps towards competence in divulging the truth, producing revolutionized journalism is surely not impossible—something “DISCOVERAGE” proudly offers to all aspiring campus journalists.

DISCOVERAGE is an 8-day campus journalism training event that will immerse participants in comprehensive lessons, entailing everything from the different forms of journalistic writing, copyreading, cartooning, photojournalism, broadcasting, and more.

Join us from July 2-5, 9-12 in this week-long quest of DISCOVERing the art of delivering factual news and captivating stories, while mastering the nuances of effective COVERAGE in the vast world of campus journalism.

St. Dominic College Basic Education hosted the Cavite Province Union of School Organizations, Inc., for their the In-Service Training (INSET) 2024 earlier today, July 1, 2024, at the DRA Hall. The theme for this year is "Building Capacity: Deepening Knowledge, Strengthening Skills, and Abilities in Matatag Curriculum Implementation."

Teachers from Grade 4 to Grade 7, alongside our Basic Education teachers, participated in this enriching training event.

Our guest speaker, Mr. Villarba, is confident that the students of SDCA are receiving an excellent education from the institution.

Ms. Diangco's message to her fellow graduates emphasizes the importance of valuing both impressive qualifications and unwavering commitment, stating that she believes in the merits of both those with glittering credentials and those who consistently shows up, regardless of the circumstances.

Ms. Rivera eloquently reminded us that we hold the pen to our own future destinies. It is within our power to craft the narrative we desire, for only we possess the authority to determine our path.
