In line with Proclamation No. 65 from the Malacañan Palace in celebration of Ninoy Aquino Day being moved to August 23, 2024 (Friday) as a special (non-working) holiday, services at the Outpatient Department and Cancer Center will be closed on the said date. Likewise, the said services will be closed on August 26, 2024 (Monday) in celebration of the National Heroes Day.

Normal operations of the Outpatient Department and the Cancer Center will resume on August 27, 2024 (Tuesday) while patients needing assistance from the Malasakit Center will be accomodated 24/7.

On Circulating Facebook Pages Posing as False Loan Centers of the Malasakit Program Office

The Department of Health (DOH) cautions the public against pages maliciously using the Malasakit Program Office as false loan centers.

The DOH clarifies that no such support services or offices exist at present.

The said pages are FAKE, and are not in any way or form affiliated with the DOH.

Furthermore, the DOH states that criminal charges may be pressed if related post/s shall persist. The DOH continues to enjoin the public to source information only from legitimate sources and platforms such as the health department, which can be accessed through the links and social media handles below.

Hinihikayat ng Department of Health Cordillera ang publiko na maging aktibo sa pagpapatupad sa enhanced strategies para sa dengue prevention and control.

Kasunod ito ng pagtaas ng kaso ng dengue sa Cordillera kung saan, naitala ang 5,740 dengue cases mula Enero 1 hanggang Hulyo 6, 2024. Mas mataas ang naturang bilang nang 104 percent kung ikukumpara sa dengue cases a naitala sa kaparehong panahon noong nakaraang taon.

Mag-ingat sa mga sakit na dala ng maruming tubig!

Pagkatapos ng sakuna tulad ng bagyo, maaaring madumihan at makontamina ng mikrobiyo ang ating pinagkukunan ng inuming tubig.

Siguraduhing malinis ito sa pamamagitan ng pagkulo o paggamit ng chlorine tablets.

Siguraduhin din natin na malinis ang mga lalagyan natin ng tubig tulad ng jerry cans, plastik na bote at iba pang lalagyan.
