MANDËKO KITO | One of the artistic highlights of Baguio as a UNESCO creative city is underway!

Let’s sell! That is what the Ibaloi words “mandëko kito” mean. That’s exactly what’s happening at the Saint Louis School Center grounds at Assumption Road. There are 50 artisans, crafters, and chefs showcasing their wares at Mandëko Kito, which is part of the Ibagiw Creative Festival 2022.

Mandëko Kito is a great place to go to for gastronomic adventures, to find local products for holiday gifts and decor, upcycled materials, and fashionable handwoven wear. The fair is the community’s way of supporting local entrepreneurs and artists.

The fair is made possible with help from the Baguio Arts and Crafts Collective Incorporated (BACCI), Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), and Smart Communications.

Mandëko Kito is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will run until November 20, 2022.

How to avail free unlimited rides on the Hop-On, Hop-Off (HOHO) Tourist Bus?
• Free rides are available ONLY for tourists who have approved VISITA QTP and will park their vehicles at the Baguio Convention & Cultural Center designated parking areas.
• Pay city-sanctioned parking fees:
>Light Vehicles: P35 for 1st 2 hours, P10 per additional hour
>Mini Buses (Excursion): P40 for 1st 2 hours, P15 per
additional hour
>Regular Tourist Buses: P400 for 1st 2 hours, P15 per
additional hour
>Motorcycles: P10.00 for 1st 2 hours, P5 per additional hour
• All passengers of the parked vehicle will get BUS PASS as ticket to ride on the HOHO Tourist Bus at any scheduled departure time in designated stops around the circuit.
• BUS PASS shall be surrendered when claiming back the parked vehicle. Lost PASSES will be charged with a fee of P25.
