Biyahe Ni B at Sapid ES

LCMCo's CEO Bryan U. Yap and it's team distributed gift packs to 137 learners, 8 teachers, members of the Barangay Sapid Council and some parents as part of his program "Biyahe Ni B" at Sapid Elementary School, March 9, 2024.

Sapid Elementary School headed by Ma'am Juliet P. Daganos and Barangay Sapid LGU headed by Barangay Captain Jaime L. Paplonot represented by the members of the Barangay Council expressed their gratitude to Sir Bryan Yap and the LCMCo team for the meaningful visit.

Beneficiaries wore their big smiles as they went home with their pair of shoes, pair of socks, hat, toys, and food packs.

Sapid ES receives 1 set of computer desktop and 1 unit 3210 printer from Lepanto Consolidated Mining Company (LCMCo) during a simple turn-over program at Barangay Sapid Gym, January 19, 2024.

Along with Sapid ES represented by Ma'am Juliet P. Daganos, Marivic ES represented by Sir Nelson Bang-as and Barangay Sapid LGU represented by Barangay Captain Jaime L. Paplonot accepted the equipment and supplies from the LCMCo represented by Sir Rolando Ursua, Ma'am Maria Consuelo C. Odono and their team.

The said provision of equipment and supplies is part of the project of the LCMCo's Community Relations Office funded under the SDMP.

Tree Planting at Sapid, A Christmas Gift for the Children

Sapid Elementary School and the community joins the simultaneous planting of trees as DepEd launches its National Tree Planting Project entitled, " DepEd 236,000 Trees- A Christmas Gift for the Children", December 6, 2023.

Aligned with the DepEd's goal, this activity aims to promote environmental preservation and inculcate environmental responsibility among Sapidians and to ensure a clean and green environment for our children and the future generations.

The activity was participated by Sapid ES teachers headed by Ma'am Juliet P. Daganos, Barangay Sapid LGU headed by Barangay Captain Jaime Paplonot, Barangay Kagawad Lito Lumedio, Chairperson of the Committee on Environment, School Nurse Zhimar Garriga, Sapid ES Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Supreme Elementary Learners Government (SELG) officers and parents.

To ensure the realization of the project's goal, the planted trees will be collaboratively taken care of and be monitored by the school and the community.

Sapid Elementary School headed by Ma'am Juliet P. Daganos, with the School PTA headed by Ma'am Rhanny C. Saguingao and the Barangay Sapid LGU headed by Barangay Captain Jaime Paplonot wants to express their sincerest thanks and appreciation to GMA KAPUSO FOUNDATION through Maam Maricel Tarrayo, Senior Project Staff Representative, and Ma'am Julie M. Bocalan, GMA-Benguet-Farmers Focal Person, for including Sapid ES learners as your beneficiaries in the GMA KAPUSO Give-A-Gift Alay sa Batang Pinoy Project.

Special thanks also to the Mankayan Municipal Local Government, Tagel Corporation, Mankayan PNP personnels and all volunteers for the success of the distribution of the GMA KAPUSO gifts to learners.

Sapid ES conducts School Teachers' Day

In recognition to the dedication and significant roles of teachers in nurturing every Sapidian learners, the Sapid ES Supreme Elementary Learners Government (SELG) led by LJ Steff D. Tepeg and the School PTA Officers led by Rhanny C. Saguingao organized a simple Teachers Day Program last September 28, 2023.

With the SELG officers taking charge of the program, the simple event began with series of activities. The pupils showcased their talents and gave thank you messages to their teachers through their cards, poem, dances and songs. To commemorate the event, the SELG and PTA also gave simple tokens in heartfelt gratitude to the efforts and sacrifices of the teachers who cared, touched and empowered their pupils' lives.

To conclude the program, games were played by the teachers, pupils and parents who were present. Thanks to the parents and stakeholder who sponsored the prizes.

The teachers through Mr. Venerando V. Rosal, Master Teacher II of Sapid ES, expressed their thanks to the SELG and SPTA Officers, pupils and parents for the said program. "It was a great time and stress reliever on the part of the teachers", he added.

Saguingao heads this year's School PTA

Rhanny C. Saguingao succeeded Johnny Linggayo as the School's PTA President for the school year 2023-2024 during the Mass Induction Program which was attended by Councilor Ambino T. Padawi, Barangay Officials, teachers and parents last September 27, 2023.

With Councilor Padawi as the inducting officer, the following School PTA officers also took oath in their respective position namely: Vice President, Babylyn Betito; Secretary, Virgie Ducas; Treasurer: Geraldine Bugtong; Auditor, Rhonda Langco; Public Information Officer, Rezly Ambasing; Business Managers, Cory Alwod and Laila Carbonell; Area Representatives; Stephanie Kinao for Sese, Lanimar Mendoza for Pinagayan, Johnny Linggayo for Nursery, Rowena Dangatan for Nayak, Alice Cho for Tubo and Jemelyn Veloria for Tagumbao.

Sapid ES welcomes 122 learners

Sapid Elementary School welcomes 122 learners on the first day of classes, August 29, 2023, for the School Year 2023- 2024.

After the flag ceremony, a short program was conducted. For a good start of the school year, Pastor Andres M. Baniaga shared spiritual message to the learners, teachers and parents present. After the message, Sir Venerando V. Rosal introduced the new school head Ma'am Juliet P. Daganos who in turn gave orientation and introduced the staffs of Sapid ES.

RODEKOM and Palm Grove donates school bags

On August 29, 2023, RODEKOM General Construction and Enterprise and Palm Grove managed by Mr. and Mrs. Brandy Abeya distributed school bags to 122 pupils of Sapid Elementary School on the first day of the S.Y. 2023- 2024, August 29, 2023.

"The bag donations are just one of the ways to share our blessings and encourage our youths, the learners, to continue and persevere on their studies", said the representative from RODEKOM and Palm Grove.

As part of the efforts of the school to start a productive school year, Sapid ES is always open and continues to tap partners and create linkages such as RODEKOM and Palm Grove to further improve the school's service to its learners.

With this, Sapid ES headed by Maam Juliet P. Daganos wants to express its greatest thanks to RODEKOM and Palm Grove for making a difference to the first day of school of Sapidian learners.

Sapid ES welcomes new school head and 1 teacher; sends-off 2 teachers

Ma'am Juliet P. Daganos, Head Teacher III from Taneg Elementary School, succeeded Sir Venerando V. Rosal, Master Teacher II and Teacher-In-Charge, as the school's School Head for the School Year 2023-2024 during the Installation, Turn-over and Send-off Program at Sapid Elementary School last August 28, 2023.

After almost 4 years, Sir Jonathan P. Lagan, the Cluster School Head, and Sir Rosal, the TIC, formally turned-over the full responsibility over Sapid ES to Maam Daganos as the new School Head. In addition, Ma'am Nathalie P. Lagan also turned-over Guiweng Elementary School as her Cluster School.

At the same time, two outgoing teachers of Sapid ES, Ma'am Dolores S. Paplonot and Ma'am Nora M. Bulaga, and one incoming teacher, Ma'am Flordeliza C. Balusdan from Lepanto Elementary School, were also recognized and welcomed during the said program.

Ma'am Bulaga was transferred to Sayapot Elementary School while Ma'am Paplonot was designated as Teacher-In-Charge of Paco Elementary School. Meanwhile, Sir Rosal will go back as a classroom teacher while extending assistance and providing instructional supervision to teachers of Sapid ES.

As pointed out by Sir Lagan, it is indeed hard at times to let go of our station when we are already attached to our colleagues and the community, however as public servants it is our duty to respond to the call of duty. As such, the movements of school heads and teachers are for them to extend their valuable service and impart their skills and knowledge for their respective stations.
