The Samahan ng mga Nagpapakadalubhasa sa Araling Panlipunan will be conducting a seminar on "Safe Space Act and Indigenous Education” on November 14, 2022, Monday 1:00-5:00 PM at the DSG Hall. Together with the seminar, there will also be a traditional and digital poster making competition. The participants are provided with the materials needed for the contest. There will be 7 entries for the JHS. The group shall be comprised of 7-8 members from each section and year level coming from the JHS while the participants for the Digital Poster Making Contest will be coming from the 9 different degree program of the CTE. The submission of the entries for the JHS participants will be on November 15, 2022 at the SLS Quadrangle after the Flag Raising Ceremony of the SHS. The submission of the entries for digital poster of college students will be on November 16, 2022 at the SNAP email address: [email protected] The Awarding of the Prizes will be conducted during the Flag Raising Ceremony of the limited Face to face classes of the JHS students on November 21, 2022. The Awarding of the Prizes for the College Level will be via Facebook Account of the CTE SNAP public page. Further information about the competition will be announced on November 14, 2022 during the seminar so the participants are highly encouraged to join.

CTE SPORT FEST 2022 Update The list of Sport fest activities (unit, sports, LITMUSDA events) are in the link. Each unit has at least 467 members so it is advisable that a member should not have a double event excluding the open category activities. HAPPY WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY! October 5th of every year is dedicated to all teachers around the globe as we celebrate the World Teachers’ Day. This year’s theme is “Teachers at the Heart of Education Recovery”. According to UNESCO, the theme is in respect of the determined and diligent efforts of teachers in the crucial stages of the Covid-19 pandemic. HISTORY 101: It was in 1994 when UNESCO officially declared October 5 to be the World Teachers’ Day. It intends to commemorate the anniversary of the adoption of the 1966 ILO/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers, which significantly sets the standards concerning the rights and responsibilities of teachers, their initial preparation, further education, recruitment, employment, and teaching and learning conditions.
