As we embark on the journey to elect the new officers of the Society of Medical Laboratory Scientists, excitement fills the air. This election isn't just about picking names on a list—it's about electing the visionaries who will champion our cause, inspire progress, and foster a spirit of unity among us all. The recent Freshie Week unfolded with energy and excitement, marking the beginning of a thrilling academic journey for our newest batch of students. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝘇𝘇𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵, 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. With interactive displays and enthusiastic members sharing their passion, the booth became a beacon of curiosity and inspiration for the incoming class.

As the week progressed, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝘂𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲. New students were not just introduced to their courses and faculty, but also to a vibrant community ready to support them every step of the way. Our esteemed organization is now accepting applications for aspiring officers for this academic year, starting today until August 20 at 11:59PM as the deadline of submissions. For those who would like to be part of the SMLS legacy, kindly comply to the requirements listed below, until then, see you on the upcoming screening of applicants, and on the election proper this August. 💜💛

Last Friday, we gathered for a special Send-Off Mass, where our community came together to offer prayers and support to the Medical Technologists Licensure Exam takers.
