In line with our commitment to integrity, accountability, and fostering a safe community, Integrated Confederacy, the mother organization for Computer and Information Studies, announces the formal disassociation of Mr. Son Inocencio, effective immediately.

ICON strives to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and respect for all members. Our decision follows a thorough review process concerning actions inconsistent with our organizational values. While specifics cannot be disclosed to respect the privacy of those affected, we acknowledge that this disaffiliation should have been addressed sooner. Nevertheless, our actions reflect our unwavering dedication to maintaining a secure and supportive environment for all.

Furthermore, Mr. Son Inocencio is hereby prohibited from associating with Integrated Confederacy in any capacity, including representation or performance of actions connected to his previous position. His authority to act on behalf of the organization is revoked indefinitely.

We reaffirm our commitment to promoting a culture where every member feels safe, respected, and valued. Any behavior contrary to these principles will not be tolerated.

Featuring ten self-produced short films, witness the first Multimedia Arts Film Festival produced and hosted by the Bachelor of Multimedia Arts program! With the theme, “Pagsibol,” enjoy stories of personal growth, finding oneself, and overcoming adversity.

These short films will premiere at the Devesse AVR, SLU Maryheights Campus, at 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Details on the schedule will soon follow.

Congratulations to SLU's 2nd year BSCS students on being shortlisted for FirstCut, one of India’s biggest International festivals for student films, organized by FLAME University in Pune! This significant achievement is a testament to their talent, dedication, and hard work.

Their film entry entitled: FADING FLAMES (Nauupos na Alab) will be screened by a live audience and esteemed professionals from the Indian film Industry. This will be followed by a panel discussion which would provide additional invaluable insights and perspectives from renowned film personalities. Let us wish them well!

Despite facing fierce competition with over 400 entries, Shekinah Elisha Raposa has soared to remarkable heights, securing a well-deserved spot in the prestigious Top 11 of the Young Creatives Challenges with her captivating graphic novel entry, "Penthos," a short story about a man dealing with grief in a fantasy world.

💘[ICON'S BOOTH DURING LOVER, MARYHEIGHTS EDITION]💘

Louisians, were your hearts delighted? During the Valentine's event last February 7-8, ICON, along with other organizations, publications, and the KASAMA/SSC SAMCIS Assembly, enthusiastically participated by setting up booths that offered a variety of delightful surprises! 💝

ICON extended an invitation to Grumpy Donuts, managed by MMA students, to sell Valentine's-themed food and drinks, featuring their best-selling 15-pesos donuts! 🍩🧇

Talented CIS artists also took part in Caricature (Portrait) Drawings, showcasing their skills by creating customer-requested portraits in caricature and various art styles! 🎨🖌️

For every 60 pesos worth of purchase, customers had the opportunity to spin the ICON wheel! Participants had the chance to win ICON pins, stickers, and a donut from Grumpy Donuts! 🎡

On November 30, 2023, we delved into the captivating realm of game development led by the exceptional 𝐌𝐫. 𝐖𝐲𝐥𝐢 𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐭𝐞. A distinguished graduate from the University of the Cordilleras, boasting over a decade of expertise in the game development industry ✨👨‍💻

Students were able to learn about the fundamentals of game development, diving into the intricacies of coding and the artistry behind creating immersive virtual worlds! 🤩

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Olivete for being the catalyst of this holistic learning experience.
