DISCLAIMER: This is not a usual post that you see from a page like this, but we were just struck by the character of the tricycle driver we hailed earlier after running some errands. Marami pa rin namang mas mabuti, kaysa sa hindi, but this one is really impactful.

It's a pretty refreshing experience to ride a tricycle owned by a driver who's wearing an ideal set of gears, is well-groomed, and is very polite to us. Kahit maraming stops, walang reklamo, walang "tsk tsk," and walang pagkamot sa ulo sabay iling.

Just as a caterpillar goes through stages of growth, searching for food amidst external threats and then shedding its old self to become a butterfly, humans evolve by overcoming challenges and learning from experiences. Both processes involve leaving behind the old and embracing the new to reach a higher potential.
