They have proved that excellence is a virtue that can be honed with dedication and hard work.

With exceptional intelligence 🧠 and literary composition 🖋️, Carmela Cueto, Sidnee Madlangbayan, Sofia Odessa, and Maria Yoshabel Mendoza were awarded as the Champion, 8th Placer, 4th Placer and 3rd Placer from the Pagsulat ng Sanaysay and Essay Writing, respectively. ✒️

In the world of academia, where great minds compete to gain knowledge, our very own ACES President—Carl John Garcia—has proved to be a formidable competitor. He demonstrated his quick wit and insightful thinking during the General Information Quiz Bee and emerged victorious with 3rd Place, overall. 📚📖

As language is used to convey thoughts and ideas, Aldred Sky Abando's improvisation and elegance have allowed him to create a work of art in the Biglaang Talumpatian as the 2nd Placer out of 9 delegates. 🎤

While the ink may dry and the ink pots may be empty, the lessons they have learned and the knowledge they have gained will stay with them forever. They are the winners of today, but they will also be the leaders of tomorrow. Their unwavering commitment to excellence will not only bring success and recognition to themselves but will also serve as an inspiration to others to strive for greatness. 💯

𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈: Leadership is the art of inspiring, guiding, and influencing individuals or groups to achieve a common goal or vision. Effective leadership goes beyond simply holding a position of authority; it involves setting a compelling vision, motivating and empowering others, and demonstrating integrity and empathy.

On the previous Monday, the ACES Honors Society spear-headed an Oath-Taking Ceremony, alongside the Supreme Student Council of the University of Batangas Senior High School. The event began with a captivating performance by the UBSHS Rondalla, and was further motivated by the inspiring words of Ms. Hannah C. Dimaano and Mr. Aiken Jhon P. Magpulhin, both distinguished alumni of the University of Batangas - Senior High School, who have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills.

Dr. Augusto C. Africa, the Principal of UBBC Senior High School and Director of UB Basic Education, officiated the actual oath-taking. Class Officers, Organizational officers, and Student council officers all pledged their commitment, preparing them for their roles and responsibilities as student leaders.

Youth leadership is of paramount importance as it harnesses the fresh perspectives, passion, and innovation of young individuals to address contemporary challenges, advocate for critical issues, and inspire positive change. It empowers and builds the confidence of the next generation of leaders, fostering active civic participation and preparing them for future leadership roles while promoting diversity, inclusivity, and a global perspective.
