Disconnections between thoughts, identity, awareness, and memory are hallmarks of dissociative disorders, which are defined by an unconscious attempt to escape reality. A dissociative condition can affect people of diverse ages, races, ethnicities, and socioeconomic statuses.

Only 2% of persons fully fit the criteria for chronic episodes, with up to 75% of people experiencing at least one depersonalization/derealization event throughout their lives. Dissociative disorders are more frequently diagnosed in women than in men.

Panic attack causes sudden, brief feelings of fear and strong physical reactions in response to ordinary, nonthreatening situations.
Mental health has been a big concern during the pandemic, but it is also something that we can each address individually. Find out what local supports and resources are available to help those in need. Your mental health is YOUR health. Look after it.

Among the major goals of psychology are to describe, explain, predict, and improve human behavior. Some psychologists accomplish this by contributing to our basic understanding of how people think, feel, and behave.

There are Psychology myths that are still being said and believed by individuals who lacks information and knowledge about psychology. The best way that we can do is to educate people to understand the significance of psychology and how it helps those who are suffering from mental health issues, we should learn to appreciate and understand the value of psychology.
