We regret to announce the passing of Elma Echon last March 4, 2024. She was 72 years old.

A loving housewife, she is survived by her husband, Jose Echon, and their children, Jocelle, Joel, Joey, and Jomar Echon.

Other family members who mourn Elma’s loss include her grandchildren, James Lewis, Joseph Lawrence, Alessandra Jade, Juniaslina Miles, Joshua McKenzie, Jose Leoj, Jazmine Mikayla, Marianna Justine, Aiden Jan, Princess Joella, and Jacob McTimothy; her siblings, Lourdes, Hector, Reynaldo, Pastor, Caridad, Ariel, and Irene; and finally, her in-laws, Mark Anthony, Lanie, Maricel, Alleli Maria, and Laarni.

For those who wish to pay their respects and comfort the bereaved, Elma’s wake will be at Forest Lake Chapels Biñan (Cattleya Chapel) from March 4 to 9, 2024. Her interment will be on March 10, 2024, 10:00 AM.

It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Julia Galanida on February 11, 2024. She was laid to rest at Forest Lake Memorial Park last February 18, 2024.

Julia was born on November 1, 1950, in Capiz and is survived by her husband, Arsenio Galanida, and their children, Arsenio Jr., Eleanor, Eduardo, Emerson, Edwin, Evelyn, Bernadette, and Beatriz Ann.

She was a full-time housewife, and her hobbies included cooking and singing. In particular, she was known to love the old songs of Shirley Bassey. Aside from being a loving wife and mother, Julia was described by her family as someone who was always happy and very friendly.

Julia, who would always remind her eight children to love one another, will be profoundly missed by the family she left behind.

It’s common for Filipino wakes to last for days, with families usually staying at the chapel where their departed loved one reposes before burial or cremation.

We mournfully announce the passing of Severino “Tatay Boy” Marasigan, who passed away on February 10, 2024. Aside from being a hardworking provider for his family, Mr. Marasigan is a respected member of the following organizations: Couples for Christ and Lupon ng Barangay Pacita. Notably, he served as Phase Chairman of Phase 6, Zone 2, Pacita I.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Susana, and other loved ones: Steve, Abby, Sophie, Annie, Erion, Jhuvie, Nicole, Ashly, and Sevie Marasigan; Carlos, Shirley, Patricia, and Shelo Resaba; Ariel, Marjorie, and Arl Hans Barleta; and Jhun, Sandra, and Erica Bulario.

You can view his wake at Forest Lake Memorial Chapel at Biñan, Laguna (Jasmine Chapel), until February 13, 2024. Meanwhile, his inurnment will be on February 14, 2024, at 9:00 in the morning.
