In accordance to the Republic Act No. 10742 or the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, Section 23, it stated that:

Kabataang Doñanense! come and show your skills and creativity in making lanterns with the theme “𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬: 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞”.

📌 𝙈𝙀𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙄𝘾𝙎

1. The parol must be made out of ANY recyclable materials.
2. It should be 1 meter by 1 meter. (1m x 1m)
3. 85% of the lantern should be made out of recyclable materials, and there should be at least 15% other materials (e.g. glue stick, glue, panali, etc.)
4. It must be entirely handmade.
5. The lantern must be colorful, vibrant and visually appealing.

📌 It will be graded based on the 𝘾𝙍𝙄𝙏𝙀𝙍𝙄𝘼 𝙊𝙁 𝙅𝙐𝘿𝙂𝙄𝙉𝙂 below:

Lanterns can be interpreted as a sign of direction, optimism, hope, and second chances. As the Christmas season is approaching, the project showcases Donyanenses' creativity in creating giant parole, highlighting the declining value of Christmas, and promotes creativity, craftsmanship, and environmental awareness through recyclable materials.

For our programme, here are the 𝙈𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙨:

- The contest is open to all bonafide students of Biñan Integrated NHS.
- Each grade level is REQUIRED to participate.
- For Junior High School, there should be one (1) entry per Grade Level.
- For Senior High School, there should be one (1) entry per grade level based on their strand. e.g. HUMSS 11, HUMSS 12. (Note: ICT 11 and 12 will submit one (1) entry)
- Participants should submit a maximum of one (1) entry.
