September is fast approaching. At syempre, ang nasa isip natin ay papalapit na ang Pasko.

But alam nyo ba na ang September ay CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH? This was proclaimed to bring awareness to pediatric cancer, which is the leading death by disease for children under the age of 14.

I am grateful for the wonderful team of Pediatric Hema-Oncology Staff, Our friends from Pediatric Surgery and my Family/ Mentors from Pediatric Urology especially Doc Carlo Bisnar for helping me with this case.

If wala sa normal na lokasyon ang itlog at hindi pa bumaba sa bayag ang itlog sa loob ng anim na buwan, ang pasyente ay maaring may undescended te**es.
Ito ay isa sa pinakamadalas na abnormalidad na makikita sa mga batang lalaki.

Dapat maitama ang lokasyon ng itlog sa loob ng anim na buwan hanggang 18 months upang maiwasan ang pagbabago sa fertility at upang madetect ang pagbabago sa laki ng itlog sa mga pasyenteng may undescended te**es.
