The average national passing percentage in the Licensure Examination for Criminologists (LEC) based on the previous results is only at 30-35%. The data clearly shows that many Examinees encountered difficulty in responding to each test of competencies designed for the said purpose.

With the implementation of the new Table of Specifications (TOS) last December 2022 Examination, the entire criminology community is very much eager to find out how the examinees coped up and responded.

The Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology have recently engaged in an informal discussion with the National & Regional Officers of the Professional Criminologist Association of the Philippines (PCAP) and some Deans and faculty of HEI’s with the intention to explore mechanisms on how criminology graduates would successfully hurdle the challenges of the Board Exam. Policies, programs and significant activities are expected to be engineered very soon to address identified gaps and weaknesses related to the Board Exam.

Professional Teachers Face to Face Mass Oathtaking.

For Passers of the October 2022 LEPT who took the exam in Butuan City

Date: February 5, 2023, Sunday, 2nd Batch.

Call time: 8:30AM, Program : 10:00AM

Venue: Atrium, Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City

DRESS CODE: Business/Corporate Attire (Strictly No Denim Pants)

WHAT TO BRING: Present the following to the PRC Attendance Checkers and entrance personnel during the admission.

• Printed copy of Oath Form with QR Code
• Oath Taking Ticket
• Valid ID or Notice of Admission in the October 2022 LEPT
• Complete Vaccination Card or Negative RT-PCR results taken within 48 hours before the oath taking schedule

NOTE: Inductees who fail to present any of the above documents shall not be admitted to the venue. Moreover, only those who are tagged as having “attended” the oath taking attendance can proceed to initial registration/application for license on the date to be set by the Commission.

STEPS TO FOLLOW:

1. Confirm attendance by securing an online appointment at https://online.prc.gov.ph and select PRC Butuan City and Face-To-Face Mass Oath Taking in the LERIS. Slots shall be available until 12:00 noon on February 3, 2023, or until the full capacity of the slots is reached.

***No Walk-In Inductees shall be entertained on the day of the oath taking.

2. Print and bring your Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal) with QR CODE together with your Notice of Admission in the October 2022 LEPT, and present it to the PAFTE Secretariat at the PRC-Butuan office (for Butuan passers) starting on January 9, 2023 to avail your Oath Taking Ticket.

(Note: “No Oath Form and NOA, No Ticket Policy” for Butuan City passers shall be strictly implemented).

3. Report to the venue not later than your call time on the day of the oath taking. Please Strictly Follow Your Time Schedule Stamped in the Ticket.

REMINDERS:

Only passers of the October 2022 LEPT who took the exam in Butuan City are allowed to register for the face-to-face oathtaking ceremonies on February 5, 2023.

Those who will not be able to attend the scheduled face-to-face mass oathtaking may attend the online mass oathtaking or request for a special oathtaking. Announcements will be made for these oathtaking activities.

Only oathtakers with complete requirements are allowed to attend the oathtaking ceremonies.

(Parents, guardians, and relatives of the oathtakers are not allowed inside the venue)

After the oathtaking, the registrants shall proceed with their online transaction for Initial Registration starting

DECEMBER 2022 CLE

1. Kailangan 75% ang average na makuha mo sa CLE December 2022. Kung 74.99% ang average mo, bagsak ka sa exam na iyon.

2. Kailangan 60% ang pinakamababang rating mo. Kung sakaling ikaw ay nakakuha ng rating na mas mababa pa sa 60%, kahit na umabot pa sa 75% ang average mo hindi pa ilalabas ang resulta ng exam mo kung pasado o bagsak. Hindi na mahahatak ng ibang area/s ang average mo kung may below 60% ka sa isa o 2 areas;

3. Halimbawa naka 75% average ka sa 6 na areas pero 59% ka halimbawa sa isang area like CLJ, bibigyan ka ng 2 taon para mairetake ang area na CLJ lang;

4. Kapag nagretake ka sa area na naka 59% ka, kelangan 80% ang rating mo sa area na niretake mo para ikaw ay maging RCrim. Ibig sabihin kung 79.99% lang ang makukuha mo sa CLJ na niretake mo, ititake mo na ulit ang 6 na areas sa sunod na Board Exam;

5. Kapag hindi ka nagretake sa loob ng 2 taon doon sa area na below 60% ka, ititake mo na ulit ang 6 na areas sa sunod na Board Exam; at

6. Kelangan sa 4 na areas ay makakuha ka ng pasadong marka sapagkat kung 3 areas ay bagsak ka, automatic bagsak ka na sa exam na iyon.
