ELEVATING GOOD PRACTICES. The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD Regional Office 13), through its Housing and Real Estate Development Regulation Division (HREDRD), conducts a Virtual Refresher Course on the Registration Renewal and Advertisements for DHSUD-Registered Real Estate Brokers as part of its continuous efforts to ensure compliance with government regulations and uphold industry standards.

This refresher course aims to provide updated information and guidance on the latest rules and policies governing real estate brokers, with a special focus on the renewal of registration and regulations on project advertisements. DHSUD recognizes the crucial role real estate brokers play in the country’s housing and property development sectors and is committed to helping brokers navigate evolving legal and professional landscapes.

Another session will be made exclusive for DHSUD-registered Real Estate Salespersons on the 24th of October both in support to the celebration of the National Shelter Month 2024.

FORWARD PLANNING. Undersecretary Henry Yap, representing Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar, awards the Certificate of Approval for Butuan City’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) to Mayor Ronnie Vicente Lagnada on Thursday.

The city’s plans include mixed land uses and development, as well as the creation of new town centers. These will ensure complementation in land uses, integrate functionality and encourage investment.

Plans for the Butuan River Park and Marina Development were likewise presented.

Mayor Lagnada expressed his gratitude to the Department for the approved CLUP and for the guidance during the planning process.

Undersecretary Yap commended their hard work and efforts to ensure that their vision and goals are codified, and expressed support for their attainment.

Joining them were Environmental, Land Use and Urban Planning and Development Bureau Director Mylene Rivera, and other LGU and DHSUD officials.
