When the Lord speaks, He does what He says. It is comforting to know that God’s plans and activities are closely tied to His word. When we pray according to God’s will (as expressed in the Bible) and claim His promises (as recorded in the Bible), He hears us and answers our requests.

~TOWARDS CHILDREN~

Unborn generations are depending on our faithfulness today. As we teach our children about the Lord, so they will teach their children and their children’s children. If we fail to tell our children about the Lord, we may well be breaking the chain of God’s influence in generations to come. We must view our children and all the young people we meet as God’s future leaders. If we are faithful in opportunities to speak into their lives today, we may well be affecting the future.

~FEELING UNQUALIFIED?~

Sometimes we pessimistically look at our circumstances and would tend to look down our own self. Let us remember that God sees us in light of our potential. The more we rely on Him for strength, the more we will realize the potential that God sees in us and created us to fulfill.

Let us not allow our past experiences or present pressures keep us from seeing ourselves as God sees us and experiencing the new kind of life we can enjoy in light of His available resources. Press on!

~TROUBLED?~

God does not shield believers from difficult circumstances, but He examines (or tests) both the righteous and the wicked. For some, God’s tests become a refining fire, while for others, they become an incinerator for destruction. Let us not ignore or defy the tests and challenges that come our way. Let us use them as opportunities for us to grow.
