"An Unforgettable Day at Pedro D Duncano National High School: A Visit from Vice President and Deped Secretary Sara Duterte
April 11, 2024, marked a significant day in the history of Pedro D Duncano National High School. The school was privileged to welcome Vice President and DepEd Secretary Sara Duterte, who visited as part of her tour of the Matatag Pilot Implementer Schools.
The atmosphere was electric, filled with anticipation and honor. The school community, from the faculty to the students, was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for this rare opportunity. The visit served as an affirmation of the school's commitment to providing quality education and its status as a model for other institutions.
Pedro D. Duncano National High School celebrates International Math Day with a theme: "Playing Math", with various activities participated by the students. The celebration would not have been successful without the collaborative efforts of our enthusiastic math teachers, namely, Ma'am Jessa A. Tubil, Ma'am Candy Claire T. Galigao, and Ma'am Emily B. Consuegra, with the assistance of the member of PDDNHS Mathematics Club and the Student Teachers from Caraga State University. Also, a big thanks to our School Principal, Engr. Alex T. Moralda for his undying support for the activity.
So, let's inspire the next generation of mathematicians by sharing the joy of discovery and the thrill of solving complex puzzles. Together, let's continue to explore the boundless possibilities that mathematics offers and work towards a future where everyone embraces the power of numbers.
