This patient came to our office with a chief complaint of having pain upon chewing. Surprisingly, the restoration is a bit off which is why we corrected the anatomy and the occlusion.

Onlays are used on extensive caries with one or more cusp involvement to strengthen the tooth that has been weakened by caries, previous large restorations and trauma.

In situations involving a conventional removable partial denture, one common metal used in dentistry is Cobalt-Chromium (CoCr) alloy. Owing to the loss of several of her permanent teeth, both dentist and patient made the decision to modify the major and minor connector components. The patient had asked if I can utilize the same material prior of that.

The challenge for this case is to fabricate it in a span of only 2 weeks. The objective is to keep the components rigid while uniting them all. Additionally, it would result in a more favorable path of insertion.
