Patient booked an appointment for direct veneers since his old veneer came off. Upon checking, there was a periapical lesion on tooth #'s 11 and 21. Also the patient had severe bruxism. Patient came to us for a full work up. But only has 2 weeks vacation in the philippines. Patient opted to replace the old fixed bridge (plastic with metal backing) with emax fused to zriconia. Upon removal of the crowns, the gutta percha came off as it has no master cone and the bridge has suffered from severe leak. Immediate Root Canal was performed on tooth # 21. Took impression and a 3D scan. Perfect opportunity to calibrate our 3D printer. After 6 days, we managed to cement the permanent crowns. Patient came to us with a severely broken tooth, fortunately the tooth was root canal treated. We placed fiber post and core, and took a 3D scan for the temporary crown as the patient needs to have the crown ASAP.
