To the dedicated spirits who lend their hands, time, and effort in collaborating with us for this ex*****on, we are nothing but grateful hearts thanking you for extending your means of guiding and systematic support and helping us deliver learning, love for reading, and smiles to the children of Barangay 128, Tondo, Manila. 📐🤩

SRD Konkoyo Center, the home of where our aspirations began to flourish, and to Teacher Rose, Teacher Chentie, and Ate Florita who have witnessed our Team grow more fond of pushing our limits further in inspiring children to love learning and reading too. 📚

Moreover, we are also very much grateful for the assistance of the ever-dedicated Barangay 128 Councilor, Hon. Alma Geli, and her steadfast commitment in helping us reach the grassroots of the community. To SK Chairwoman Miss Angelica Cular, and the entirety of Barangay 128, SK Council, thank you for being the pillar of hope that the children could look up to. Thank you for commencing with us your advocacies of empowering education and making it accessible and inclusive for children who are experiencing difficulties in accessing literature and education. 🏫🖍️

All is fair in learning and charity. 🧸

For the whole time that Team WOW dedicated its efforts and service to teaching the children of Barangay 128, Tondo, Manila, every ex*****on felt like brand new hope amidst dim lights. 🪄

The team started from scratch and now we’re celebrating the peak of accomplishments we all strived to see at the end of it all — that we fulfill the dreams of these children; where amidst the struggles and inaccessibility to both resources and education, there will always be people who will push through beyond limits and champion with them the hopes they have for learning and discovery. 📚

It was a bumpy road, but we remained driven to reach the very corners of this small community, where bigger dreams await. If the children’s learnings and dreams were the destination, we were glad to be their rolling vehicle to get there. 🎀🎡

The last ex*****on of this program run marked the end of the headlong race of our aspirations as a team: to see the children be glad of what they learned and grateful for what they received and at the same time serve as their inspirations that despite life’s hardships, hope is what keeps us pushing through. 🎉 Twenty (20) children shared with us the highlights of their day last January 28, having fun in little games and learning proper hygiene. Each of them also received prizes for the games, school materials for their learning activities, children’s books to tell stories from, and hygiene kits for their sanitation. Moreover, each one from the team shared with the children their gratitude, smiles, stories, and happiness on the last commencement of this program run. ✏️

In this one-of-a-kind rolling journey, the team is most grateful for the support that we acquired from those who helped us deliver the needs of the children of Barangay 128, Tondo, Manila.

To MIC Project and BSociety which served as the primary ignition of this social action initiative, we are most delighted to work with you in advancing our aim of making learning and fun accessible to the children of our chosen community. 🏡

To SRD Konkokyo which served as the shelter that accommodated us as we navigated towards the success of this project — you have witnessed us go from zero to heroes and have guided us in every step of the way. To Teacher Rose, Teacher Chentie, and Ate Florita who have been enthusiastically cooperating with us, thank you for being dedicated educators who believed in us and our aim of contributing changes to the community by championing literature and education with us. ✊🏼✏️

To our passionated partners — Kagawad Alma Geli, Barangay 128 SK Chairwoman Angelica Cular, the Barangay 128 SK Council, and Helping Hands Children’s Foundation - Los Angeles — we are very much grateful not just for your compassion and support for every ex*****on, but also for the shared responsibilities as the changemakers of our communities that we have cultivated by working hand-in-hand with each other. 🤝🏼 We hope that your hearts are just as filled and thrilled as ours for the success of this program.

Amidst the growing difficulties in accessing learning and the right to accessible education, may we remain steadfast in recommitting ourselves to be the rolling mechanism that will drive the children towards the destined realities of what once were just their dreams. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the Helping Hands Foundation for their invaluable contribution of the materials for this ex*****on.🤩🥰 Rollers, let's remember that our work doesn't end here. This is just another step in our ongoing commitment to the well-being of the children. Let's remain dedicated and prepared for the next opportunity to make a difference in their lives.🛞✨💫

Commencing the 7th ex*****on last January 14, 2024, the team geared up and presented the children of Barangay 128 with the dazzle and joy of giving learning kits, knowledge on 𝙉𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙨, snack packs, and of course, fun and discovery in listening to stories on children's books! 📚

On behalf of the children, TEAM WOW is also very much grateful to the working people who helped us execute this event successfully and with spirits! We'd like to personally thank Helping Hands Foundation for helping us provide resources for the learning kits; Kariton ng Maralita Network for the food packs that the children munched nicely; and for Barangay 128 SK Council for their dedication in securing the location for this ex*****on, for teaching the children, and for the passion they put into this ex*****on that was truly heart-melting. 💌

To successfully close this seventh chapter of our rolling stories, we seek to be more and more willful and drived-on in going into communities like Barangay 128, Tondo, Manila, and give hope 🌻 to children by hearing their stories, sharing knowledge with them, and providing them the materials they need in our own little ways. 📝

The Wheels of Will are thrilled to introduce the incredible partners and contributors who played a vital role in the success of our sixth Wheels of Will initiative, bringing joy to the children of Brgy. 128 Tondo, Manila. 🤝🏻🥳 The success of our previous initiative served as a remarkable lesson in promoting children's personal hygiene, thanks to the collaborative assistance and support provided by our diverse partnering organizations.

Gotcha on a remarkable spin this December, 𝐖𝐎𝐖 rollers! The team is back for its 𝒔𝒊𝒙𝒕𝒉 𝒆𝒙𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 that enthralled the children of Barangay 128, Tondo, Manila. 🎡

Eyes here for another wowmazing and successful push-through of the Wheels of Will mobile, for strolling down the front of Barangay 128's Health Center to teach the children the valuable lesson of maintaining their hygiene. The heartwarming news ❤️‍🔥 is that: over seventy children were accommodated for this ex*****on, where each of them had the chance to listen to the team teach about proper handwashing, brushing their teeth, proper wearing of their clothes; and storytelling a child-friendly story related to hygiene and sanitation, with a moral story of equipping the children with the knowledge of cleanliness of their own. 🫶🏼

𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥-𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥: 🎡💫

In this ex*****on, we are very much grateful to 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽for primarily maneuvering this hygienic roll. The team was dedicated to having this ex*****on successfully carried out because Helping Hands Children's Foundation willfully took the initiative to collaborate with us in this project by extending their help by providing the essential supplies and materials that the team shared with the children during the ex*****on proper.

The team also extends its gratitude towards the 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐒𝐊 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 and the 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 for the systematic support they provided during the ex*****on, and for their diligent practice of assisting both the team and the children for the whole program. 🫡

Moreover, we are also thankful to the 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 and 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 present on the ground who, at their best, made the children happy, knowledgeable, and engaged for the wholeness of the program, neverminding the heat of the weather but only the warmth of the feeling that their company has brought. 💥

To the 𝐒𝐑𝐃 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐤𝐨𝐤𝐲𝐨 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫, which has been the home to our mobile project, we are beyond grateful for being the institution that provides us with learning materials that we utilize to provide the children the learning avenues that are conducive to interaction and development. ✏️

Meanwhile, we are also thankful for the children of this community for being one with us in this ex*****on. It is certain that they have learned a lot from us, but we have resonated and learned more from them. For November, the team had a run for several meetings and concise discussions in planning for our objectives and goals to achieve for this month. Furthermore, the respective meetings included the planning and group manifestations for the third and fourth ex*****ons and the initial planning and conditions for the fifth. On the other hand, the follow-through of the meetings was about task banks, deliberately dividing the tasks for tracking and monitoring. Meanwhile, the team also shed light on more concerns such as the growing partnerships between collaborative institutions, organizations, and foundations who were willing to help create greater ripple effects in this community project. 🤩🌟

We held our November meetings close to heart as it was a month of celebrating our success, learnings, personal insights, and practical learnings which all goes beyond the technicalities that come with as project organizing committee. 🗒️📝

Back at it again with climbing the 𝐔𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 of 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 128, 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨, 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚; the team made its way to roll another dream yet to be set in realities by commencing for its project’s 𝒇𝒊𝒇𝒕𝒉 𝒆𝒙𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏!

The way up is not easy, but our struggles were diminished when we saw again the children who captivated us as we were welcomed by them running towards us! Some of them remember the previous lessons, some of them remember the other volunteers, — but one thing for sure is that all of them remembered the 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 we built! We couldn’t thank these amazing children enough for being patient on waiting for us and spreading the acts of service, learning, and perseverance. 🌤️🚞

Learning never stops! And because the team believes that we must start the day of the children with vibrance; everyone was energized by dance exercises that the children seemed to have enjoyed. Moreover, apart from teaching the basics of 𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐒 (𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯), our team had a lot of fun reading the children the story books 📖 that they really grew fond of listening to as they eat, ask questions, and remain sitting.

On behalf of the Team Wheels of Will, we give the highest thanks and appreciation to those who showed us concern and camaraderie to finish the ex*****on strong; despite the possibility of rain. Thank you for those who keep the children, the volunteers, and the organizing team safe and sound by providing us an area that served as our shelter from the changing weather conditions. 🛞

To 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞, 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚'𝐚𝐦 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚 for continuously helping us empower education by providing us learning materials and books that the children use, thank you for continuously lighting our path.

Together with us in this roll are our volunteers whose dedication and motivation are seen as they share with the children their patience, knowledge, and collective efforts. 𝐄𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐧, 𝐀𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐚, 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐮𝐲𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐞; you have been the backbone of this ex*****on and from our hearts to yours, we thank you for investing your day with us, assisting every one and taking this project into a whole new experience of volunteering.

We also extend our gratitude to the 𝐁 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 for making it possible for us to commence and carry out this project efficiently and with guidance. The children found light in fun and learning as each of them received their story books and school supplies.

Every ex*****on is marked as challenging; but the fifth ex*****on became far more amazing for the uniqueness of the feeling it brought, the happiness it came with, and the learning that finished strong. 💪✏️
