🍌✨ Creative Bananas Team Building ✨🍌

Team building took on a unique form in our recent event, marked by thorough planning and distinctive games. Unlike traditional team-building events, ours featured only a select few games: "Jenga with a Twist," "Deep Treasure Hunt," and a "Simple Jigsaw Puzzle."

We kicked off with Jenga, introducing a twist to the classic game. Refer to the photos for the mechanics. Surprisingly, the game lasted almost three hours, extending into a best-of-three series. Filled with energy, friendly banter, and intense competition, it concluded with a 2-1 score. 🏗️🔄

Next on the agenda was the Deep Treasure Hunt. Explore the photos for the mechanics. Adrenaline surged throughout the game. While one team retrieved all the treasures, they struggled to complete the puzzle word. On the other hand, the opposing team cracked the word but hadn't found their final piece. Can you guess the ultimate winner? 🕵️‍♂️🧩

Our final game was the "Simple Jigsaw Puzzle." Initially skeptical, I thought it was the lamest of the three. However, after announcing it, both teams gathered at the table and on the floor, starting immediately. Though I can't recall the exact time, the first puzzle was completed around 3 AM, and the second at 2 PM. Building these puzzles was a first for me, and the experience was superb and fulfilling. 🧩🌙☀️

These games offered valuable takeaways:

✅ In the first game, both teams strategized exceptionally well. Despite expectations, the Bird Box players weren't the first to be nominated. One team leveraged their restrictions to enhance their gameplay, emphasizing that everyone can contribute, regardless of limitations. 🐦📦🚀

✅ Complacency about victories is a pitfall. Until the win is secured, caution is crucial. ⚠️🏆

✅ Strategic thinking prevailed in the "Deep Treasure Hunt." The first diver gathered multiple pieces and placed them in the middle, prompting the next player to focus their dive there. Team coordination and adapting to changing circumstances were key. 🤿🗺️

✅ Speed isn't always the answer; sometimes, a slower, smoother approach is more effective. As the SEALs say, "Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast." 🐢💨

✅ In the final game, the immediate initiation of the puzzle, even without a set deadline, showcased the team's proactive approach. Timely action without hesitation is a testament to a motivated team. ⏱️🤝

✅ Leadership demands availability where the team faces challenges. While some noted their jealousy as I assisted the other team, I believe a leader must be present where the team requires support. 👥👤🤝

✅ Despite switched puzzle pieces and internal team competition, it's crucial to remember that the entire group is a unified team. Yielding to the other team doesn't signify defeat; it embodies collaboration. 🤝🧩🤼

In conclusion, our unique team-building event, featuring "Jenga with a Twist," "Deep Treasure Hunt," and a "Simple Jigsaw Puzzle," was more than just a series of games. It was a journey of strategic thinking, adaptability, and collaborative ingenuity. Each activity brought forth valuable lessons on teamwork, leadership, and the power of persistence.
