On September 2, Xavier University released the OVPHE Dean's List for the Second Semester of AY 2023-2024. The following students from the Electrical Engineering Department at XU-College of Engineering have qualified for this honor.

A total of eighteen (18) Electrical Engineering students made the list, with three (3) achieving first honors.

[ENGINEERING NEWS] New Xavier Ateneo Electrical Engineers

We are pleased to announce that the College of Engineering’s Electrical Engineering Department and IIEE XUSC proudly congratulate the newly registered electrical engineers from Xavier Ateneo. On August 29, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results of the REELE and RMELE exams, along with the overall performance of each institution. The exams took place at PRC testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao on August 24-25.

For this licensure exam, Xavier Ateneo have five (5) new registered electrical engineers.

ATTIRE NOTICE: WEAR [FORMAL] RED FOR THE MASS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

As Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan inaugurates the academic year 2024-2025, a traditional Eucharistic celebration for Higher Education will be held at the Xavier Ateneo Main Campus, presided over by Fr. Mars P. Tan, SJ, who will also deliver the homily.

In line with this, the IIEE XUSC invites the electrical engineering community to actively take part in the Red Mass of the Holy Spirit by wearing red as a symbol of unity and reverence.

The IIEE XUSC proudly acknowledges some of its officers for their active representation and participation both within and outside the organization and the university. Their dedicated efforts and active presence in these platforms ignite their passion and drive to acquire knowledge and gain valuable experiences.

As many of these activities occur simultaneously, the spirit of teamwork and mutual support ensures the grid operates smoothly. While voltage loss is inevitable, it does not dim the Sparks that drives to mitigate any consequences. Ensuring the continuous power of the grid is our mission—delivering electrical energy through efficient generation, transmission, and distribution for optimal utilization.

Moreover, as IIEE XUSC gears up to formally power the grid for AY 2024-2025, the intensity behind our keyboards and boards grows stronger. Hybrid meetings are in full swing, blending experiences and expertise to give back for the improvement of the organization. On the stage where the Sparks lit up the theatre, the power grid formally commence its function.

This coming September 2024, expect a surge where hues of green will dominate the scene.

[ENGINEERING NEWS] IIEE-CDO to host Oath-Taking Ceremony for April 2024 REE and RME Board Passers

On July 23, the Cagayan de Oro chapter of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IIEE) will host the oath-taking ceremony for the April 2024 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) and Registered Master Electrician (RME) board passers.
