𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐅𝐈𝐎𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍, 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐇𝐌𝐄𝐍 𝐈𝐒𝐃𝐀! 🎉

FIOGET or Freshmen Orientation and Get Together is an annual school-to-school orientation and assembly where a new batch of scholars are introduced to the vision and mission, student affairs and formation activities, and scholarship policies and guidelines of the City Scholarships Office. This activity also aims to acquaint scholars with their university scholarship coordinators and City Scholarships Office personnel;
as well as build camaraderie with other scholars through a series of games,
group discussions, and other activities.

FIOGET schedules per school will be announced at the 𝗜𝗦𝗗𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 (𝗜𝘀𝗸𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗸𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻) 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 so stay tuned!

The 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧𝘀 - 𝙐𝙎𝙏𝙋 came together for an exciting day at the “𝗣𝗔𝗚-𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗜 𝟮.𝟬: 𝗔 𝗨𝗖𝗦 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆.” The event warmly welcomed the new volunteers and regular staffs, allowing them to get to know each other and build new friendships. What started as unfamiliar faces has quickly turned into meaningful connections as they shared experiences and bonded throughout the day.

The day was filled with enjoyable activities and important discussions. They gained a deeper understanding of the UCS mission, vision, and goals, ensuring that each one of them knows the values guiding the organization.

With the strong participation of everyone, this event was a big success and marked the start of a new chapter for the organization. This is only the beginning of the incredible work we will accomplish together! 💛💙🤍

August 27, 2024 — Held at the SM MOA Arena, the 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙨 of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines achieved a remarkable milestone as their program, 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 3𝙆: 𝘼𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙖 𝙆𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣, 𝙆𝙖𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣, 𝙖𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙝𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙣𝙖 𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙠 𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙤 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 was recognized as one of the Top 5 projects in the prestigious Global Youth Summit Seed Grant Competition. Project 3K is an innovative program designed to support USTP City Scholars who are under the care of solo parents by offering comprehensive training in three areas: 𝙆𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣 (Skills), 𝙆𝙖𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣 (Knowledge), and 𝙆𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙝𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 (Livelihood).

The recognition of Project 3K at the Global Youth Summit highlights the dedication of the University City Scholars in fostering social responsibility and academic excellence among their scholars, it demonstrates the organization's commitment to transforming the lives of young people through education, skill development, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.

The Administrative Cabinet is supporting the Executive and Legislative Branches and acts as the cohesive-body for coordination, decision-making and strategic planning to all UCS Projects. As the resolution indicates the establishment of the Administrative Cabinet therefore, there shall be a 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙛 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙛𝙛 to ensure efficiency in its responsibilities to oversee the programs implemented and report its progress to the executive branch together with his 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘾𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙩 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 to manage administrative tasks and support the 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙛 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙛𝙛 of his responsibilities. NUNOT sa kasaulogan sa ORO YOUTH Month ning bulan sa Agosto, gipahigayon ang Youth Agvocates Project 3.0: Garden Attack sa USTP, Agosto 9, diha sa University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) nga gipangulohan sa pagtudlo sa mga city scholars ning siyudad.

Kini na ang ikatulong tuig sa pag-implementar sa maong proyekto diin ang mga city scholars nga nagtungha sa USTP nga mao’y gitudloan sa miaging katuuigan ang nangulo sa pagtudlo kanila.

Ang Youth Agvocates Project 3.0: Garden Attack sa USTP usa ka all-in-one training, immersive workshop, ug volunteering activity nga nagtutok sa Urban Microfarm Concept covering Hydroponics ug Urban Gardening.

Kini gisalmotan sa 79 ka mga Out-of-School youth gikan sa Life Project 4 Youth CDO, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) trainees, ug mga learners sa Alternative Learning System sa Department of Education.

Ang maong kalihokan inisyatiba sa Oro Youth Development Office, Kagay-anon Youth Network Alliance (KAYA NA), USTP Extension and Community Relations Division, Center for Human Development ug Kids Who Farm uban sa tinguha nga matudloan sa bili sa pagnanum ning panahon ang mga kabatan-onan.
