Philippine Pescetarian Society

I'm really sad that I'm not a Vegan, not even a vegetarian, but I now belong to a Pescetarian Lifestyle. There are many reasons why I switch to Pescetarianism:
1. Economic Reasons. Living in the city is quite expensive, suppose to be vegetarian is cheaper but it's not. freshh vegies nowadays is expensive, and if there are restaurants offering vegan and vegetarian menus, their price per menu is too high that average income earner can hardly afford. Mamamatay ka sa gutom pag nasa labas ka. Kaya mapipilitan ka kumain sa mga fastfoods where seafoods are available.
2. Vegan/ vegetarian food preparation takes time to prepare and you can not ask somebody to cook for you because housejold members are not familiar with the vegan menu preparations.
3. I sometimes can eat protein from plant based because I don't have enough time to buy from the local market. I need enough protein because of health reasons.
4. If you're co fined in a hospital, they serve you non- vegan/vegetarian foods. If you don't eat, you become weak.
