An open mind is a mind that is open to new ideas and information. When a mind is closed, it loses its ability to learn. Without learning, the mind only deteriorates and gets easily drawn to the darkness of life.

Some people have very fixed ideas of life. It usually comes from their own experience and understanding of life. They are reluctant to embrace new ideas or look beyond their own perspective. When the mind is open, we open ourselves not only to learning new things in life but also open ourselves to more possibilities. When we embrace new opportunities, we experience further growth in life.

No matter how much you know or which stage of life you are in, there is always more to learn and experience. An open mind will make you enthusiastic and aware; keeping it close will only make you dull and uninformed.
