After days of endless hours working on my rewrites and edits, I ended up cutting my hair short. And it's as messy and imperfect as my draft 😂 oh my 🤭🤗 💻🖋✂️

Why Artbreak?
When I was in high school, I started dreaming of going to Cebu, I’m in the Philippines by the way, for University of San Carlos-Fine Arts. I reside in Cagayan de Oro, a city which is over a hundred miles away from Cebu. After high school graduation and before enrollment in College during Summer, I asked my father if it was possible to send me to that school. Being in USC was my dream, the only thing I’d been thinking of with all of my heart most of my young life. The idea of going there was the air I breath, art was my first love. He adamantly said no because we had to send my little sister to Medicine school, and after hearing the same negative response over and over I felt nauseous and desolate to my very core. I can’t forget it how it felt. It was the first time in my life I fought desperately, rebelliously for something I wanted so bad that it tore my heart every single time I pleaded and he declined.
It was my very first heartbreak.
My family, btw, is nothing but loving and caring to me, only that my wish for art school wasn’t granted long ago.
Fast forward more than 20 years, I still paint and I’ve always had after that.
