FYI: In view of the continuous rainfall brought about by Super Typhoons "Goring" and "Hanna", work in government offices in the National Capital Region (NCR) has been suspended tomorrow, September 1, by virtue of Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 30 dated August 31, 2023.

However, despite the suspension, the BOC Port of Manila shall render a full workforce to ensure unhampered operations and continuous service to its stakeholders.

A goods declaration must be lodged within 15 days from the date of discharge of the last package from the vessel or aircraft.

It may be extended for another 15 days on valid grounds, provided that the request is made before the expiration of the original period.

Upon failure to file the goods declaration within the prescribed period, BOC shall treat the goods as impliedly abandoned.

MAHALAGANG ABISO SA PUBLIKO

Ang Bureau of Customs (BOC) ay nakakatanggap ng mga ulat ukol sa paggamit ng larawan ng mga empleyado ng ahensiya para gamitin sa panloloko.

Ang modus ng mga masasamang loob na ito ay magpapakilala bilang empleyado ng BOC. Sila ay nagpapadala ng mga mensahe sa kanilang biktima na nagsasabing mayroon silang ipinadalang "package" na kasalukuyang naka-hold sa BOC. Sila ay manghihingi ng karampatang bayad upang ito ay mailabas at maihatid sa lokasyon ng biktima. Kadalasan, sinasabihan nila ang mga biktima na magbayad gamit ang Gcash, Pera padala/M Lhuillier, personal na bank account at iba pang "mode of payment" na hindi awtorisado ng BOC.

Pinaalalahanan namin ang publiko na ang mga empleyado ng BOC ay hindi personal na nakikipag-ugnayan sa mga kliyente. Ang BOC ay may sariling proseso sa pangongolekta ng buwis.
