NEW LOCATION 📍 📍📍

Hello all. The transition to our new home went seamless and we are happy to announce that we are on target for OPENING DAY. SEPTEMBER 15, 2023.

With that said we will start doing dry runs on our new shop location starting tuesday SEPTEMBER 12, 2023.

For those who wanted to have a quick look, come and visit us. The new shop is bigger, better and more comfortable for all of you. I would like to believe that the interior is pleasing and that the vibe is the first ever. May all of you have the greatest experience as we continue serving you and your beloved Vespa's.

Greetings!

For the past years VCC has been your GO TO club for exciting rides, exploring new places and most of all meeting new friends. I witnessed how our group grew from our first round up back in October 2021 with 50 members and still growing until now. We currently have around 350 members strong (active and inactive).

As your founding President it is my responsibilty to sustain the clubs existence and keep us relevant to the Vespa community. That being said I am inviting all of you for a GENERAL ASSEMBLY (details are on the invite) to discuss on how we move forward as a club. Major topics and activities during the GA are:

* Election of 3 club roles (President, VP and Secretary)
* Ride Directors and Ride Volunteers
* Facebook Messenger clean-up (inactive members) to welcome new aspiring members
* Ride Calendar
* Welcoming of new members
* How to be a bonafide member / returning member

The clean-up will start after the GA. Meaning, ONLY those who will attend will be retained and still be considered members of Vespa Club Cainta. We are maintaining 2 FB pages. One is open to public and the other one is the official VCC page (members only). No changes on the public page but on the official page the clean-up will apply. We will discuss further during the meeting.

I would like to reiterate that VCC is an open club and has no affiliation with a higher group or federation. This is for all Cainta locals, (and neighboring cities who wanted to join) no membership fees etc. We have always been independent. It was created to promote camaraderie while sharing a common interest, Vespa. But just like any other groups we need to put a system so we can have a guide to make our club grow and consistent. I honestly feel that we have so much potential to encourage more vespa enthusiast to join us. Once upon a time we are the biggest and strongest in numbers. I consider myself responsible if that old picture faded along the way. I couldve done a better job owning that responsibility as your President.

During our 2nd Anniversary Ride I mentioned about leaving the position open. I think its about time we consider unique ideas and let new potential officers lead us. We became flat probably because I run out of fresh routes, busy with my personal life and business. I dont want to keep the group waiting and hate to see it dry up. WE NEED NEW LEADERS thats the bottom line.

This General Assembly will be a turning point in restructuring VCC to become better. I understand that we might loose some people while we go through this, yet we need to.

Im sending this invite weeks ahead so you could plan out and free up your schedules. Again, your attendance - your membership to VCC.

For old members who are in our GC I will create a sign up list.

For new and aspiring members just show up there since the details are on the poster invite. Don't be shy - mababait po kme.
